Nice one me and my friend went to this crossing and we had to walk to the A5 from Gobowen and we managed to open the plunger box and the buttons have been ripped out unfortunately it was on the other side and a shame though that people have smashed it up and they've ripped the alarms off as well hopefully they will open this line one day 👍

I lived in Oswestry since 1986. That line was running frieght untill 1988 .the barriers used come down . Ok

the line closed in the 80s . i used to see the stone train going to blodwell quarry

Think passagers trains run untill to late 1960s.think frieght finished to Oswestry 1988.
