There's nothing wrong with Urjita's humour or her opinions (her singing, OTOH, 😅): I think she and Abbas make great "partners!" That being said, Kunal Rao, WTF man. WTAF.

I really hope Kunal has the decency to read some of the feedback he's getting and accept his fuck up. Some comics really need to be brought down from their high horse, thinking that their "idgaf" personality and "dry" humour alone is enough to carry them. That too at a show which has previously brought some hilarious, genuine Bollywood fans and aficionados. News flash guys, hating on Bollywood and not keeping up with pop culture, and coming to a show completely unprepared does not make you cool and edgy.

This was such a drag as an episode. Whats the point if the guests are not interested? Urjita’s lame jokes don’t help either. Its a great concept but wasted by lack of proper execution. Abbas you are the only saving grace.

This is just lazy work. Being proud of letting the movie run in the background while you carry on with your lives is a testament of how well you do your job. These are the very same people who are constantly complaining about how difficult freelancing is and how insecure an artist's life can be, and the moment you get a gig, this is how you choose to do it. No wonder corporate looks down on you guys. A prime example of mediocre efforts. It's one thing if the guest isn't interested, but the hosts too. Urjitha has no nuance. Watching every movie with a feminist POV is an angle stretched too much. There are multiple artists working on a movie. Not just script and screenplay. Her only opinion is on the subject. Your only contribution to the podcast shouldn't be whether the movie meets your feminist requirements. Abbas, do better buddy. Off late, the last few episodes feels like this is only a side gig. I used to wonder why the channel isn't growing. I guess I am late to see why..

It is my humble request to IVM and HIAW team to please invite people who loves Bollywood or atleast dont look down on it. This might be the contender for the worst episode of any podcast ever. Urjita needs to work on her comic timing, man she sucks, her jokes land like planes did on 9/11. I whole heartedly love this podcast but man the guests and Urtija just ruins it everytime.

I could not push myself through listening to the whole episode. Kunal was annoying, interrupting and generally felt like the person who shows up to the book club without reading the book, eats all the snacks and is the loudest talker anyway. Even simple things like questioning if Abbas was right about release dates. Especially after the great Rangeela episode this was a let down.

Kunal Rao was as much present in the podcast as much I was in my college classes. Please bring guests who have at least seen the movie. I understand Partner is not a watchable movie but if you are coming to podcast to discuss a movie the least you can do is watch the movie once. Didn't enjoyed this episode half the time was spent on correcting Rao.

Not the best episode but certainly not the worst as many in the comments are suggesting. People really be channelling their sexist selves in the name of criticism. Kunal's segments did sag but the episode was fun nonetheless. Also, would love for you guys to discuss Makdee on Has it aged well. I suggest this because Antariksh talked about it in another IVM Pop Wrap episode on Scary Movies how much the movie holds up. Plus it would initiate a good discussion on Vishal Bhardwaj's thematic range.
