@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning Funny i had gotten my first job at 25 long story short family lived rather terrible because we always had been evicted from every house we lived in for 3 decades! I had gotten my first everything at 25 my apartment ,interview, job and responsibilities i'm 32 now pushing to 33 i'm tired of shit not getting done. my younger peers are starting to see this and i'm very proud of at least 1 of them who had the balls to say it to the rest of them who're dead weight because i have an attitude when people are just lazy and don't do shit because they live with family / friends or others its not reality. My mom died a year and a half ago dad doesn't care about us, grandfather died this year and all my grandmas died so NO parents. I'm on my own taking care of myself with family i have staying with me and i get comments on the phone saying " we're proud of you" because my words are that my family is my driving force and i'll take care of them which i wont stop doing it they're everything to me.

You were 100% correct. I used to train staff and unless you point out their short commings and mistakes they will keep repeating them. Then later on when you point it out they could turn around and say " well you never told me so I kept doing it" You learn from your mistakes so don't repeat them and improve. It will do him good and make him more responsible and grow up.

Sid I recently purchased a house and the drive was a jungle. Your pressure washing videos made me confident in picking up a karcher starter unit for myself. I cleaned my drive myself (72° slope felt like) and then realised it needs weed treatment. Tried roundup but that stuff is rubbish. Then decided to just salt it. Your re-sanding gave me the technique to get the sand evenly spread with minimal wastage. It has been three months and the section I salted is still plant free. Now I just need to crack on and salt the rest...when my health allows.

I really don’t understand why other people have gotten mad about that video. The kid is 17 years old. He’s working an adult job earning career money with a boss that has high expectations. Sid you were totally within your rights, as you well know, to call him out on his laziness at the time to help promote a harder work ethic. I’ve been a subscriber on this channel for a long time, and I don’t always feel the need to comment, but your business has grown so much I’m really proud of the work that you have put into it. Good on you for not bending the knee. This is YOUR channel and YOUR business and if people don't like it, they can always skip what they don't like. Never bend the knee otherwise it takes away from you and what you chose to put out. People need to stop trying to treat other people's pages and channels as if it's their own....they'll be the first to jump up and down irate if someone else tried to tell them what they should be doing with their channel and pages. you have a good work ethic Sid and you are willing to pass it on. Forget about the whiners and complainers, if they were working for someone and their fellow workers were slacking off they would be the first ones jumping up and down and complaining about the person not doing the job. Also if they start off being taught the right work ethic it will follow them through the life of work and make them more employable. You do a good job and I am glad that you are thinking about Kev's future in your business and not just saying he's too old to work. Great job on the house and caring about the wildlife.

This is why I’ve been a long time sub to this channel and I keep coming back. Sid, what you said at the beginning of this clip is 100% true. You’re a stand up guy and you keep it real and authentic and you really don’t see enough of that on KZbin. You’re very mindful of the your job and experienced at what you do. I’m 56 years old and I couldn’t imagine doing what you do at 60 years old. I completely understand how it’s not realistic to do what you do at 60 and beyond. And looking out for your future father-in-law (Kev) is just the right thing to do. The new guy on your team is learning some valuable life lessons if he just keeps following your example. You’re setting this kid up for success and it’s seems as though he realizes that and appreciates it. How else is he going to learn? The job you guys do can be dangerous and if not done properly, someone could get hurt so it’s good to see that he’s listening to you when you tell him he needs to pick up the slack and be safe about it. Another great job and your customers really appreciate that your a fair guy and you do great work. It’s evident from the convo you had with this customer. Keep up the great work Sid, it’s really paying off with your customers and your team!
