I agree to a point. NXT was amazing . . . For wrestling fans. It's really about 2 different philosophies. Vince is always looking to grow the audience whereas hhh looked to satisfy the audience they had. For most it's about those already watching, but Vince sees it as "how do I get the millions who aren't watching to check us out." If we're being honest, Vince's track record crushes everyone and it isn't even close.

@@paulgili5843 also 2.0 has kinda proven his ideas for characters aren’t that great Cause as Adam pointed out in his ‘How Adam Would Book RAW Underground’ there are only so many wrestling characters but PEOPLE are always interesting Unfortunately with what we’ve been getting presently in the newest generation of names and characters in 2.0 they are pretty much hit or miss, with a lot being misses I mean I don’t exactly see any of them being main event calibur talent with their present gimmicks besides Bron Von doesn’t even really have one, he’s practically just a dudes who’s some thing is he’s big and muscular
@paulgili58432 жыл бұрын
@@arashitendou5941 that's the thing though NXT is and was always supposed to be developmental. Developmental shouldn't be a finished product necessarily. Black and gold became "WWE does indy wrestling" which was great for us diehards and older (jaded) fans. However, from a business perspective, how much sense does it make to sign a bunch of guys already in their mid to late 30's and give them the time and resources much younger talent could use? Yeah, those days excited us wrestling fans but we were a smaller segment of an already established fanbase. It didn't really draw new eyes to WWE, just satisfied an itch not scratched by other WWE programming. "It was the best of their 3 shows" is a subjective take. While I agree with that opinion, if that were really true, the numbers would have backed it up. When they went head to head with AEW, AEW won more because wrestling fans felt it was fresh or more authentic or whatever. Even after moving to Tuesday, the "best" show's best segment couldn't even touch a dumpster fire, train wreck Raw segment in terms of total views.
