You have uni students going to high school cuz of one of the buses, that is a problem for 2 reasons, 1. Basic education slots are wasted 2.They beat the crap out of the kids in the hallways because they already know all of their subjects

It's reading all the chain signals ahead. Remember what I said about reading until the next non chain signal. Here's what gets everybody no matter what happens. No matter how well you signal it. How well it's planned out. It doesn't matter. You just have to many intersections. I know, it's painful to do. However your going to have to rip it out. Move the main line that goes around the station farther away. You should have enough room for 3 trains to pull off the main line and wait for the station to clear. It should be 1 straight continuous line off that main strait into the terminal. Then coming out of the station it Y's to the right and that's an outbound lane. No need for a crossover. The way setup a 2 track station in a game is. 1 track for eastbound. 1 track for west bound. Do not have both tracks connected to both directions. Always connect 1 track only. Wasteful that empty track but the headache your having. So much easier. You can even add in 1 way signals in to the station and 1 way out. AND GET RID OF THE LOOP. When's the last time you saw a train on it. I haven't.

Also to add to what the above person said, Train tracks are like one way roads, traffic can only flow in one direction. U need to choose that direction. Also the game doesnt work well with alot of track intersections and doesnt allow you to place signals in front of a intersection without sufficient spacing. Get familiar with the block system. To get best use of your laid tracks and trains. I tried the signals in my game and I had no major concerns. Yeah the loops and wrap arounds are not needed in game..

You need A LOT more workers. All of your industries are barely functioning at all. Consider at least doubling what you have right now in terms of accommodation. Keep up the good work, comrade!

Commenting primarily, for the algorithms sake. Also yes, schedules are needed for everything not just buses and trains. Being able to set shift timings and then putting 2 or 3 dedicated bus lines to the major factories would be great.

@iqbal sahibil KZbin algorithm recommends videos that receive more comments and likes/dislikes. Likes and dislikes have a similar value for the algorithm.

About coal... I placed Large Aggregate Storage after my Coal Ore Processing Plant and i connect everything else that needs coal supply to it. It seems to be working out pretty well, no coal shortages yet.

Started playing yesterday, it really is fun, though as with all of these types of games, the first run might be scrapped when I eventually realise I've made too much of a mess :D By the way, starting with the towns and villages already on the map is way better, gives it a level of complexity of dealing with settled communities (who basically live in squalor, with a church and that's all) and getting people to and from resources rather than just saying; let's put the residential area here! I like it a lot more. Also the game is complex enough that even after watching all of these, I still have no idea what I'm doing :)

That junction/section of track is definitely not working. What you need to do is build a proper diamond junction at the entrance of each station that allows trains to approach the diamond junction on the right, and exit the junction on the left. If you have passenger and goods trains running on the same line, you may want to have a quad tracked queuing section and then merge it back down to two tracks with a Y Junction. There is also a way to build such junctions so that you break up the junction into multiple blocks allowing multiple trains to pass through the junction without preventing another train accessing the junction at the same time. Check out the Steam Guide that the developers created. I posted a screenshot of 3 mockups of junctions that will work, keep things flowing, and you won't have these issues.

you should have different colonies: the food colony with school and market, etc... the people live too far away from their workplace and you dont have enough transportation to make them quick

Your train stuff is better.. I was the one to suggest you the factorio train tutorial.. I don't know if it works the SAME way but it's been consistent so far.. it's 4:20 am here so I'm not checking %100 what you made right now.. maybe tomorrow i try to see it better (also my computer broke and it's hard to think while watching it on my tiny cellphone)! Ok.. what's going on its that you didn't get what chain signals are for and what normal signals are for.. normal signals are for start and end blocks... If you have a track splitting or crossing you need to put signals on all the exits (even the ones that your train can't fisically go to) so you end that block.. while a train is on that block any other train can get in.. chain signals are used for the same BUT it will consider next signal as well.. if the next signal are red it will act as it's on his block too.. if you have 2 exit signals (that your train can get through) and only one is red the chain signal will turn blue and it will let your train pass on the green signal but not in the red one.. with that on mind you have to create your blocks also considering wich way the signals are pointing too!
