If this man was around today, he'd have a whole series on The Food Network, a line of pots and pans, a full suite of cookbooks, international celebrity appearances, and a global brand of restaurants. Remember, he was before Emeril, Bourdain, Ramsey, and anybody else.

Pasquale was the antithesis of Gordon Ramsey…always a humble gentleman, cheerful, always ready to share a happy story or memory. The Bob Ross of cooking.

I've learned A LOOOOOT of my kitchen skills watching this gentleman! I was a 15-17 y.o. teenager living in Venezuela and there was no international television on that time (it was around 1986-1989), but the government of my country opened the satellite signal to the few ones who can afford to buy all the necessary equipment for the TV, ny family did, and we ENJOYED watching this shoe among other ones. Thank you Pasquale

My family loved his show and watched him every Sunday afternoon. Later, Pasquale was working at a Toronto restaurant where my parents took me for my nineteenth birthday. He knelt down by my chair and sang "Santa Lucia" to me. I last saw him many years later, demonstrating some cookware at the Bay. Wonderful man and wonderful memories of him. ❤️

Pasquale Carpino was the best chef on TV. I sure do miss this singing chef. I'll never forget the heartwarming episode of him becoming teary-eyed when he mentioned how his mother would use leeks in her cooking. May God forever keep him.

Oh man you guys, I am so glad I found this. Dittos to you below, I loved this man and use to watch him every day. I am 67 now but he taught me such easy recipes and how to cook when I was in my 30's. If there was a love button instead of a like button above, I would click it. Every time I chop garlic, I remember him teaching me that pressing vs chopping makes garlic release a different flavor. God Bless Pasquale!!!

Playing KZbin roulette and here I am! I remember Chef Pasquale in Montreal in the '70s. Tele Domenica (Sunday T.V.) on CFCF Sunday mornings bringing the best of Italian T.V.. I could never understand a word of it, but very entertaining nonetheless. There would be Chef Pasquale singing up a storm, cooking up a storm and I found his techniques very easy and, very enjoyable!
