Every family has their own variation depending on region. If you want vegetarian or vegan omit the sausage

Ironically, the best egg pasta for Lentil Soup is #Manischewitz Kosher Pasta - Flakes, Small Bow Tie/Farfalle, Alphabet, Barley/Balls, Small Shells. Italian Riso/Orzo Pasta is an excellent choice too.

Nope!,,,, LENTIL SOUP IS DEF NOT MADE WITH SAUGAGE(!😞) that makes it SAUSAGE SOUP!,,,, lentil soup is dominantly LENTILS!!!!! Does it really matter if the taste is great which I make it with sausage as it flavors it . Ham too . So make it without meat then. Simple. Small things in life he’s old and won’t be here for probably another ten yrs I give this man credit to have his wits and made a life in usa. He does well.

Because of your lovely accent, I could not understand what you said after you said "THYME." Can you tell me what is in that bowl? I will change this recipe a bit because I don't eat pork, but I have alternatives that will make it taste very similar. I use McKay's chicken seasoning in place of the chicken broth. The finished recipe looks so delicious in the photo, and I love lentils. I look toward it making this recipe my own. God bless you and yours!!
