Passenger Seat Removal 4G Eclipse (2006-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse)

In today's episode with Shamu the 4G, I'll be showing you all how to remove the passenger seat in your 4th Gen Eclipse (2006-2012). This is not at all complicated or difficult, but all the same, I hope you find this helpful!

Hey. I love the vid. You're the only person I can find that shows how to do things thoroughly for the eclipse that's also more recent. Could you show how to install custom seats in the future?

Thank you! I'm definitely trying to bring a lot more exposure to the 4G Eclipse. And I was hoping no one would ask me about custom seats😂 lol. The plan is to keep the factory seats and just clean them up a little bit. However, I may try to work out me grabbing a custom seat or 2 to throw in that way I can show that for anyone interested. I appreciate your engagement! I'll try and make that happen!

You skipped over the hardest part. Removing the connectors and how from under the seat

They're all clipped in. At least in my case, they were all really stiff so I had to use both hands, hence why I didn't specifically show me unplug them. But no special clips or tabs, just typical squeeze the release tab and pull apart.

Is the stock audio amplifier that black box under the seat? And if so how do i remove that? Iv been looking everywhere for an answer

So my understanding is, the previous 3 generations had it under the passenger seat, and in the 4g it's under/behind the glovebox. I have yet to do anything audio related, but that's what I've been told and heard. Hope this helps!

Glad to help! And mine weren't, no. Just be careful not to break the clips, but they came out fairly easy for me.

How long is the delivery of the Exhaust manifold?

From when I ordered it, took about a month for the header to come in. They're made to order as I understand it.

Is the process the same for the drivers seat?

Yes, it would be the same process. At least in my case. I have no heated or power seats, so keep that in mind. But all the difference should be is extra wires.
