Looove ! 😊 Wanting to share something I did when I was in Hawaii. I took a walk on the beach where the water comes in on the beach. I took a picture of my foot prints. Then I blew it up and gave it to my daughter. She absolutely loved it. ❤

Another enjoyable jaunt through the countryside. I saw that dragon just as you were about to remark about it. Cool! If you do end up making your way to Quartzite, it may be boring before the RTR, but it's also a very inexpensive, informal place to live in one of the mobile home parks there (you can rent a coach/trailer and walk to the stores as you save up for your next vehicle). Some van lifers are already there. They are having a vendor fair this weekend and Debra Dickinson (I mentioned her below your short video today) is selling her books.

If you ever have to save a box again, fold it down, wrap it in a super large garbage bag and tape it up under your solar panel LOL!!!

Ventura’s my hometown! Carpenteria was advertised as a safe beach, which I assume meant no riptides. I’m guessing the gentler waves left the seaweed and driftwood in the deep water.

Yes it gets cold during night early morning, out here on the desert. I lived in Joshua tree, 29 palms area for over 10 years. Now I live in Sierra Vista, AZ sout of Tucson by tombstone. You'd love tombstone and Bisbee. Sedona is cold too. But beautiful. Check out Jerome. Historic city.

Folding boxes flat and slide under your mattress will be low space taking option. Date them with the warranty info and bill attached and when you are adding a box, look at others to cull the oldest or the ones that were cheap or hardest box to replace or whatever you decide.

Those window covers also cause moisture, which can lead to mold. Because the water's dripping down into your floor through your door I was using them but I stopped using them. when it's cold. It doesn't do it the summer only in the winter so keep an eye on your doors i found mold on my doors

Part of me wonders if the solar panel issue is from shutting the cable in the rear hatch? That can damage a cord in the longer run and cause the intermittent failures. Just something to consider moving forward.o.

Hi Birdie, This might be the most stupid question ever, but - during winter, instead of driving around in the cold would it cost much more to treat yourself to a cheap motel once a week, or once every two weeks and not drive on those days? At least your could re-charge, have a hot shower and a good night’s sleep. Just a thought and might not be financially possible. Loving your vlogs so much XXXX. PS -I’m from the U.K. and it would not be an option here as greed rules businesses!!! But, I used to live in the States and there was always some reasonably proceed little place to stay XXXX

The only update I have is just that I finally decided, after my van wouldn't get me to the transmission shop yesterday, that I'm definitely not going to sink anymore money into the van I have now. But I have a very slow brain that processes things entirely too slowly. lol. So I'm still kinda absorbing that. Still in the motel until the 10th. So I'll definitely have an update then.
