Lovely interview. Such a refreshing business attitude - no greed, no 'growth' model (other than the flowers!) - just taking care of oneself, giving back to the land and wildlife, serving the community. Loved it. 'Making better' is a great business ethos to take us into a more sustainable future.

What a lovely young woman. I'm a retired florist, a 50-plus year Gardener and a Vermiculturalist since 2009. I wish I had had her foresight in my early 20's. Happy Gardening, Liz 🌿💚🌿

Loved this video 🥰 I was a florist for years, I’m self employed (sports massage) complete change but when I moved to my new location (Carmarthenshire) my neighbours garden is botanical and I often still make up bouquets 💐 for people with bought cut flowers and all greenery from my neighbours garden I can 💯 % see why you love your job as I’m tempted each time I just cut leaves and grass. Being that creative is so good for you mentally and physically - jealous 🤗 well done your set up looks amazing! Anna 🏄‍♀️🚎

My focus has been on food, but I've been feeling the need for flowers more strongly this year (year 2 gardening), and this video just pushed that along a little further. So far I've been compromising, planting edible flowers mostly. But the house came with a large stand of hollyhocks & several milkweed which, although I don't do anything to help along, I also don't do anything to hinder. The bees love them all, and now that the Monarch butterfly has been named an endangered species, I certainly want to provide food for the larvae.

❤️ just love this! I just started my first year as a gardener (if I am even allowed to say that) I've watched loads of your growing guides per month and tried to adapt it to my concrete court yard!..we squeezed in 1 large bed and 4 smaller ones about may of this year and thank you for inspiring me 🥰 we've harvested lots of herbs, chard and eagerly waiting the toms and cucumbers!! Love the cut flowers and one day I would love to grow my own in a bigger property 🥬🍅🥕🌷🌸x

Thanks so much, I know that they aren't to everyone's taste and many people want 'how to' videos all the time. But I enjoy making these videos that feature other growers, their gardens and words of wisdom inspire me so much.

This is probably a silly question… how do you know if a flower has been pollinated?
@LizZorab

It will start to form seeds. The plant will then start to shut down as it's done its job in continuing the species. 😃

Working with nature in any form and shape is always therapeutic . Working with flowers 💐 is another level of peace & tranquility. Allah, the Exalted, honors His slaves with all types of bliss in Paradise. They will be granted whatever they desire of flowers, food, and fragrances. The believer shall find therein all that he desires. Allah, the Exalted, says (what means): {And therein is whatever the souls desire and (what) delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.} [Quran 43:71]
