So amazing. 🤩 have this as a radio recording from when I was 13 years old! Man the quake played some cool tunes before anyone else in the US!

I saw this video once (once) on a late night alternative video program back in the mid 80s. I loved the song and I very much wanted to hear it again. I never heard the song or saw the video again. On and off through the years I'd search the internet for it...nothing. Today I happened to think of the song again and I did another search and found a website about this song. I crossed my fingers, came to this page and pressed play, and VOILA. After about 34 years, more than the length of the entire life of Jesus Christ, I have found the song and the video again. Bless you, four years late.

Found a ticket stub this weekend featuring the Passion Puppets. My band had the privilege of supporting these guys in a low key gig in Loughborough in 1985. Great memories. We were rubbish, they weren't. Enough said.

How young and beatiful we were , somebody talk me about this group and i'm really happy to add to my list what it looks was a great band , i don't know why they don't succeed in the way others groups with same or inferior quality did , music business in those days i suppose were like the cave of thieves , but success in life is what you want it to be for you . these guys rocked and they have to be proud

This song was also covered by Sixtieth Parallel on their 1988 album ‘Into Bliss’. Both great songs.

This song is great, even if I keep hearing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" in the guitar riff.

Lead singer Ray Burmiston ended up writing several songs with Glam greats The Glitter Band the following year,it didn't hurt that they recorded this in The Glitter Band bassist John Springates studio.

Like dust wasn't recorded at Rockstar Studios. The Passion Puppets did work and record some demos at Rockstar studios in the early days before signing to Stiff Records. Ray also did some writing with John Springate/Glitter band before The Passion Puppets got together.

@@AndyP-London yep, you're right about the studios, got my wires crossed there. But yes,Ray did write with John Springate and Pete Phipps of The Glitter Band, with most of those songs being released on a cassette released in 1984 called " Greatest Hits",which contained 4 re-recordings of hits, and 5 tracks that Ray had written Pete and John, plus 1 more track written by Malcom Ironton - cheers.

@@RealGoneDame Lol just curious if there's a deeper meaning. It sounds rather sexual.
