It's actually really great to hear when people do, because a lot of views are people who are curious but not necessarily making the recipe! Always touching to read when our video was helpful. We brought the tarts to a few of my relatives in Ontario and they loved them. My aunt said it was the best tart she's ever had!

I am not a fan of custard in its many forms. (been british and exposed to custard) .. But I got a dozen of theses and I ate 5 of them .. the first one going to my dog. They are insanely morish. the hit of lemon and cinnamon just grabbed the taste buds in my mouth and made them yell. More more give me more of that. So now I am in search of how to make these delicious tarts.. thanks for sharing

@Wandera1970, so sorry for my late reply! We had a crazy summer and are just now getting into a routine, with our girls being back in school. I feel the same about Natas. They are so good. In a category all their own really. They are the only sweet treat I crave (chocolate aside) and I live in a city chock full of phenomenal bakeries! Let me know if you make (or made) them! Sarah

I think my oven goes up to 500F. degrees, but I bake my Pasteis de Nata at 450F. degrees for 16 to 18 minutes and then put it under the broiler for a few minutes to darken the tops.

The recipe and the way to put the dough into the mold have nothing to do with the real Portuguese recipe. The lady in the video is completely wrong. This untruth in the video is regretted..!!!
