I made these and they were soo yummy! I fried garlic with onions and ginger paste. For veggies i used corn peas onions carrots and potatoes and i seasoned with cumin salt pepper cayenne. You have such great videos cant get enough

Yes we can. Freeze in a single layer with space between them until frozen and solid then store in a plastic bag or container. We can fry directly from the freezer.

I made these yesterday, they are absolutely delicious, I was a bit dubious about the frying in cooler temperature oil, I thought they would come out oily, but as you say, they are crispy and delicious, I modified the filling slightly by adding roast chicken and a bit of thyme, and will definately make these again . Jimmy, thank you :) The rest of oil after cooking I let it completely cool, then strain to remove any residu and pour into a glass jar or using a funnel to keep in a bottle. Stil can use for stir-frying.

Our family like your recipes. Specially I started loving baking after seeing your different types of bread recipes. Could you please tell me that after making the pastel, can I keep it in freezer? If I keep it frozen and then before guests come, I fry those in oil, will it be still crispy and taste same. How many days I can froze it in ziplock bags or container? Thanks in advance.

Hi Nadera, thanks so much and I'm so glad that your family like it. For pastels, we can store them in the freezer for several months as long as they don't go in and out of the freezer too often. For too long maybe the taste will change. Don't stack them so they don't stick to each other. The best in airtight container, with a piece of baking paper between each pastel. For storage in the freezer, please separate as many as you need, so that every time you want to fry it, just take it out as needed. You can fry them straight from the freezer with enough oil to cover the pastels in the pan.

If possible give bread or baking items recipes which can be made from oat or grind oat powder. Flour isn't healthy for many people. But, can't resist eating your yummy baked items recipes. They are like CORNISH PASTY. Instead of deep frying we put them on a baking tray and bake them in the oven. The filling all different root vegetables like carrots and parsnips, maybe a little celariac. Don't forget the pots. You also can mix the vege with ground meet ( minced beef, pork ). In old times the workers took a big CORNISH PASTY to work for lunch : one end was a savoury and the other end a sweet filling . Isn't it fantastic? No washing up, all can be eaten. Have a good time. This coming weekend comes family again to collect our greatniece and I bake one of your recipes again. 😚❤🤗

@@NinikBeckerEatLover Ninik, we use a plain pastry only made of flour, butter/ margarine or half butter half lard. This makes a more crisp pastry. And of course a pinch of salt and icecold water. As you do it, no proper kneading, getting all ingredients quickly together and let it rest. Kneading and kneading makes the pastry go " rubbery" . The rim looks very nice. And because we don't deep fry them, we pick tiny holes in the surface, for keeping the pastry crisp. Once I will try the deep fry version. Thanks a lot for all your wonderful ideas. ❤😚🤗❤
