Carbothello pencils are... Olive Green 1400/585, Burnt Umbre 635, Burnt Sienna 670 , lemon yellow 205, yellow ochre 685 and white 100. I don't use this brand's blues as the lightfastness is very poor. so I use Conti a Paris ones for them,... No10, No 06, No 22 and No46. Also the purple red for the deep shadows ... No19
If you can afford it I would recommend buying the sets as the extra colours would be very useful for clothes and backgrounds and can work out cheaper per pencil... affiliate links below.

Another amazing painting, love watch you work and I love your advice to let go of the mind and paint with your heart. It's so essential - I call it getting into the zone and then losing time. Another wonderful painting Dave. You mention blending with your fingers. One of the problems I have is that I overblend and create mud. How would you avoid that please?

Hi Adrienne, thank you. It sound like you how overloaded the tooth of the surface with pigment, I build up slowly creating texture as I go. Best to dab the area with a Faber Castel kneadable eraser so to lift off the excess pigment then go over it again lightly usually does the trick. 💕🙏

Excellent technique of mixing on the board....however how do you replace or buy individual pastel pencil after that pencil is finished? Do you buy single colour or again a set?

You can buy single pencils online... just Google search the brand and number 😊

If you are using large area...why not use the sticks rather than pencil?

Pencils seem to give subtle texture which happens with each layer... sticks tend to add too much pigment down which makes it hard to achieve the same. 🙏
