@@foreigncarsrule Maybe God did intervene - maybe for that individual it's a blessing (in disguise?), the best way to handle the things in their life. I know that while my special needs may bring me trouble they also give me special skills and make me happy in ways others can't understand. And I absolutely am convinced that God made me this way for a reason, my life has a specific purpose! :)

This story touched me, I feel as if I was looking in the mirror, I too wanted to give up, some of my friends and family didnt understand why I didnt want to do much etc.., I too am a single parent of a 5 year boy with who is austistic, my son as well has been in and out of schools, I refused to let anymore doctors, teachers, etc...continue to put labels on my child. I stood up and said enough I only want positive feedback in regards to my son, and although there are still challenges my son is now excited about life, excited about learning, and excited about Jesus. It was once said to me You have to love a child where there at and that has blessed me beyond measure..God bless you and you are awesome!!
