Distraction or not, he should’ve prayed for her deliverance and if they’ve been going through this for 4 years, she shouldn’t be on a platform. As a ministry leader myself, I understand the importance of protecting your flock and this wasn’t it. This woman has been embarrassed nationally and he had nothing to say for her defense. He embarrassed her and justified it to save face while throwing her under the bus. 😢

I personally think she was manifesting, and that demon was trying to distract. So he was right to hush her but I think he was hushing the spirit not her. He’s right, there has to be order in church especially in worship.

How is none of these Holy Spirited led podcasts not addressing Acts 16 when Paul had to REBUKE demon possessed girl shouting 'These men are servants of the most high' as if she was thanking God but she was just being a distraction. She was praising them for the move of God. When I saw that video, immediately that scripture came to mind. 1 Corinthians 14 talks about ORDER in the church. Tradition of black church doesn't trump scripture. He properly gave her too many chances as you guys alluded to, but her noise was very out of sync. As someone said, it felt like a reflective time for the congregation. Hannah in 1 Samuel 2 was groaning in pain but instead of SHOUTING she spoke within and looked so distressed but in an effort to express her heart and talk to her God, Eli the priest thought she was DRUNK! When my dad wasn't even saved yet, he had to rebuke me because I am praising God whilst he is watching TV. Like that was inappropriate context, I needed to go to a separate room! So no, that was not needed in that context. I agree with the pastor in that specific moment. We need to have self control as the Church which is a gift of the Spirit. Sometimes we use our freedom too willy nilly. And just because a pastor happens to be a celebrity or well-known doesn't always disqualify every step they take or decision they make especially when we don't know all the context.. I do think a lot of the push back is because of this man's status.

Lol i remember when i was a teen, there was this one lady, EVERY Sunday like clockwork, she's got to get up and start holy ghost dancing when Pastor Sewell drops some bars, and then the drums and keyboard chime in for at last a good couple of minutes 😅😂 the kids would giggle to each other because they knew what was about to happen once she stood up 🤣🤣

And, you have to know the difference between when someone is crying out for deliverance and when they are deliberately distracting. That was not the case with this lady. And, if it was a demon, he should’ve casted it out and not silenced it.

He was in his flesh.. He is human and we ain’t perfect and it is still a way to do things.. even if he placed her out of the choir and in the audience it would have happened. You can’t stop ppl from worshipping how they want… He could’ve let some one take her out if he couldn’t take it.. If it was a demon he would’ve said demon get out or something like that..He was mad and it was done not only in public but recorded.. that’s how I feel … A lot of pastors have this control thing going on… I may be wrong but that’s just how I feel and a lot of pastor are being exposed today. He openly rebuked her.. Imagine how she feels.. Hopefully if the this person was genuinely praising God and crying out I pray for her to be healed from this situation.. Church hurt is so real!!!!

Y’all asked a question would the lady be back next Sunday but God gives us the strength to deal with that type of embarrassment and hurt that we experience when we be put and that type of environment because if she was of the world, what would you think how would you think she would react to that that wasn’t right for him to do that? He could’ve waited till after church service And talk to her, and if he was dealing with this for years, he should’ve made sure that she wasn’t. How can I put it embarrassed with this here because now we seen another side of him I already did but I like his word I like him his preaching but now I always felt nice for real. He did that but God exposes us. When is when we need to be exposed specially if we playing in this house.

Many yell. This is order. The Spirit is falling. God might be dealing with her in repentance which brings yelling like that. No, embarrassment was the worst thing he could have done.😂. He was distracted, not God of Order because only God knows the truth. He could have messed her spirit up bad. He could have had one of the "ladies in the white"nurse uniform who are trained to deal with her, but they don't have them anymore. It did not feel disruptive. That's what the ladies in white who used to be in the black church were for to assist people like this who aare having a moment..

I believe she was just disturbing the flow of worship. Used to go to a church where a lady would just burst out and be yelling during the worship. Definitely a distraction & especially for those attending church for the first time.

Oh wow. I heard about this incident and let me tell you. My spirit has never been with him. Am sure he has not taken this lady to God, fast , and pray about her because if he did during those 4 years. God would have fixed it and showed him what to do about her. He said she was disruptive for 4 years and he has spoken to her. So she has a spirit of disobedience? And prayer and fasting didn’t quiet her down, then so we need to rethink about this ministry.

God is a God of order. He needs, as the shepherd of his flock, he needs to keep that in service in and out. His flock also needs to heed to submission as well, so IF he's spoken to her before, than submit, period!

Why would she want to be at a church where she can’t express God’s glory upon her. From his perspective, he acts as though she’s a heckler, but she remains on stage for years, it makes no sense. There are many expressers in the church, you deal with it or find a quieter or louder church. The main focus should be Jesus Christ.

You must know that God is a God of order! There is a difference of true worship and just screaming. We've had them at our church and if it is truly God and they are submitted to the spirit then once a Pastor begins to hear God and relates to you when God is speaking that you will quiet down! She was out of order!

Has anyone there ask God what does He say? There is a right way and a wrong way to address each situation. I don’t want to hear you Mr. Henderson . She could be travailing for you, if you are not listening to God because it’s about you, then God will expose you Pastor. Pastor, is your First Lady Saved? Has she made Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior? Sometimes, suppose to be man of God (but your heart is far from Him) doesn’t take correction, but they want to correct others. Why is this then going on for 4 years? Then sir, you are not hearing from the true and living God. If the head is wrong/not living right before God, the body will be affected. Did you all notice the amount of Church heads being exposed lately. The disfunction of so many that God Himself is exposing. God always warns before he destroys. The ones who are in these ministries that have a relationship with God, needs to speak up or get out of that environment, ask God for direction.
