Great conversation. I do want to say this: healthy women Do Not like for men to be mean to them, disrespect them, and dominate them. Healthy, godly women want a healthy godly, kind, patient, loving, man. A man who will lead them like Christ leads and loves his bride the church! Much love to you brothers. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Yeah, I have to be honest. If a man acts like that towards me, I slowly distance myself and cut them off if that behavior is constant. It's not just me but other women feel that way too. There has to be mutual respect on both ends! I rather have a man who is kind, humble, and respectful than a man who has a lot of money, successful, but treats women terribly.

I always said folks like Kevin S. and fresh & fit spoke mostly to men who've been hurt by a certain type of woman. I had an ex male friend who became obsessed with them and basically became an asshole. He did work on becoming better financially, and aimed to have his own family so I give him credit for that. I also have alot of brothers and most of them allowed themselves to be played by a woman badly at some point. I couldn't even tell them they were being played. No one listens. People need to start loving themselves, working on themselves, and making better choices end of the day

A man leads by influence. Not by force. 1 Timothy 2-5 “An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, [c]temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, skillful in teaching, 3 not overindulging in wine, not [d]a bully, but gentle, not contentious, free from the love of money. 4 He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity 5 (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?), “ 1 Peter 3:7 “7 Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you[a] of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”

Come on Preston Perry. 💯💯💯💯. Masculine Leadership is modeling Jesus. These dudes need to go ahead and take the L cause for the most part , they don’t model Jesus or take the initiative to learn who Jesus demonstrated himself to be as a man. Especially in character and disposition; modeling his character, behavior, and disposition when entreating people. He is the only man to model In disagreement, suffering, and vulnerability, peace, and humility. The man literally said come to me all you who are heavy laden and burdened and LEARN OF ME, for I am GENTLE AND LOWLY IN HEART, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Thank God for the 1% of men that do take the initiative to grow in love with Jesus and out of their love for Him model his character and disposition.

To the man’s point about it being different now - I think Social Media & dating apps play a huge role in why people don’t come together. 1. You’re judging off a picture and your perception of them. That can be a good and bad thing. Before I got married, I dated a guy that if I saw his photo online I wouldn’t have talked to him ( he took horrible photos and looked better in person lol) 2. Women often don’t understand how the picture their friends hype up is the same photo that will have a good man ignore them or put them in a box ( how they dress & pose) Women are very ignorant to how men think and not enough men in their lives explain it to them because they don’t want to argue or “tell women what to do” 3. A lot of millennials grew up on Survival and broken households so there is a lot of unlearning, therapy that needs to take place but the finger is always pointed to the opposite sex instead of self.

One of the issues I see in real life is WHO the “nice guy” or “church girls” want. Church men also over look the “boring” or Virgin church girl and go after the woman that a lot of men want or who are not as committed to their faith. Or they don’t pursue at all I hopes something will happen. And vice versa. Humans have this desire to want people who don’t want them and disregard the safe option or the good option OR not do anything and expect God to work a miracle lol. On both sides.

I’m dunno where you live, but, round my way, those “boring virgin church girls” are almost non-existent. What I often see in the church is older single women (who I’m pretty sure aren’t virgins, lol), OR, if they’re dating, it’s usually a guy who doesn’t attend church.
@MissJennifer8

That is actually true or my experience. I've was always told I was boring growing up, and now men try to be in my face because I don't live a "stressful" lifestyle. Like they want you to take on their stress that they created. I think it's like that on both sides with men and women.

@@bdott1538 If a woman is nice, quiet, AND attractive, someone’s pursuing her if she’s not already off the market, believe that, lol! I think the “unspoken variable” in this conversation may be that there are women who feel “invisible” not because they’re nice and quiet, but, maybe because they’re older and/or overweight, or just not very attractive for whatever reason. It doesn’t matter how “nice and quiet” a woman may be, men are still going to pursue the women they’re attracted to.

The root of the matter is men of this generation don't understand their identity in Christ first. They find their identity in the woman they frequent, the money they make, or how they look (gym culture). So when they are rejected it chips at that identity they formed for themselves and it leads to wounds that don't heal. Woman are attracted to men of God because they know who they are. They know their worth and they have the true understanding the worth of a virteous women. They humble themselves because they first loved Christ and died to self. The job of the husband is be the living of example of submission to Christ for the family. Follow me as I follow Christ. "As for me and mine house as the scriptures say." Marriage is the reflection of how the church is to have relationship to the Father. Until men and woman marry Christ first they will always be searching for needs in one another instead of looking to God fill those all areas of their lives. Just my thoughts.

I am tired of christiwn people needing revelation to act right. If you just read the Bible, it is full of example of what being a godly spouse looks like and the consequences i f you are. Why would God add more knowledge to somebody if they are not practicing the knowledge they already have. The sad part is that some unbeliever are better spouse than the christians, yet they say they have Christ

The entire law hangs on love when people catch the revelation that love covers a multitude of faults then you’ll get it if you don’t what a pity what a pity what a pity God help us again I’ll say love covers a multitude of faults and it brings restoration and healing and wholeness. And the glory of Christ is revealed in this that he hanged on the cross and died for people and gave his body for the bride. There is no greater love story literally there’s no greater Masculinity 😮‍💨🙌🏽😭

Listen, as a woman who’s a realist, I appreciate honesty. Kevin Samuel wasn’t a jerk, and his straightforward and blunt approach was misunderstood by many. Did I agree with everything he said? No! However, I agreed with most of what he said. I’m a believer and a wife of twelve years and counting. Everyone needs to be true to themselves in doing a podcast. Kevin was enjoyable and intelligent in what he stated. Most women are foolish and do not appreciate good men. Christian men aren’t just recently being sought after, as far as I’m concerned, wise women always wanted a Christian man.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and life! Don’t listen to men you who don’t want marriage and who still want to be in the world. A burn again Christian is not in those world. Be set apart from sinners! A marriage should be based on the Scripture. I know the divorce law is a concerned to men, but you have to choose wisely and stay on the word of God to guide your marriage. Hate sin. Be aware that there is a spirit that work in people of disobedient. If you don’t want be married, do not work in sin. The devil want you walk in sin. Sin leads to death. The Bible told us this. The Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom.

But that’s the problem you have men who have deep unresolved trauma projecting hateful rhetoric and Young boys, like my brother who is 14 are growing up listening to this. The biggest influence on your children in today’s society, Unfortunately is going to be social media and their peers as much as me and my brother have both grown up in a two-parent household, (I’ve obviously left my family households) I do worry about him because there’s only so much we can install into him as soon as he goes outside with his friends we can only hope and pray everything he’s learnt in the home he takes outside, but you don’t understand how harmful the rhetoric of someone like Andrew Tate is on young boys, to the point that my father had to correct him on some of the hateful things, he has been exposed to online. My father had to let him know and remind him how he treats our mother, and if my mother has displayed any of those qualities. Versus young boys have built up resentment and animosity to women are young girls, they’ve never encountered. They are walking around fearful of golddiggers. Meanwhile, they only have $10 in their pocket. Teachers have noticed an uptake in misogynistic rhetoric, violence towards girls, more violence and aggression in the classroom than ever before. countries, like Italy have not had any births in over three months as of October 2023 one reason being women are completely fed up with toxic Male rhetoric. Of course the same goes for women, but unfortunately men tend to express themselves a lot more physically than women and violence towards women, Specifically black women has increased in America. Trafficking of young black women and girls is at an all-time high that they had to create an ebony alert in places like California. All of these things are not coincidental. I do believe male toxic podcast have a huge part to play in terms of how young boys and men a viewing women. The Bible is also being twisted in order to preach misogyny which is demonic. But going back to my original point. You have a man who are disgruntled an angry at women because they’ve got no play in the past and rather than going to therapy, the hop on the mic and preach as though it’s the rule. They speak about experiences that have never happened to them and they do not have a Clinical background or understand the damage that is being done in the community. If you need a voice speak to a therapist, or talk to God ‼️‼️‼️

That goes both ways. The blind leading the blind. 😮. As a black woman, born again christian...your personal relationship with God will heal individuals to be who he called them to be. The males role w God or without he is made to be the leader and protector.
@loulousworld92
@loulousworld92 Жыл бұрын
I’m sorry, but I disagree with this the male role without God is an empty vessel and we need to stop glorifying this at the end of the day. We are human beings and we need guidance from God period a man who is without God he’s literally in the wilderness. I do not encourage women to submit and follow the direction of a man who has no idea where he is going . And this is part of the toxic rhetoric that a lot of us are consuming.
@loulousworld92
@loulousworld92 Жыл бұрын
I also disagree that men are all inherently born to lead. I think we often glorify specific people and make it a word for everyone. You do realise in the Bible. They were literally very very few men who were true leaders. In the same way there being a woman doesn’t automatically make you a mother. I think the workplace is a perfect example of this, because most of us have encountered managers and leaders who were absolutely horrible at their job and we’re not supposed to be in that position. I also think a lot of us are stuck in 10,000 BC because we don’t know how to apply the Bible in today’s society. There are times where your wife may have to lead. There are times where you may need to seek your wife’s council and guidance. I am a Christian however, I am very aware that Abrahamic religions are incredibly misogynistic. In actual reality, your first protector and provider is usually your mother. She protects you in the womb and when she gives birth she literally provides safety food and provision for you, but again because of misogyny nobody focuses on this . But anyway, back to my original points being a man does not inherently make your leader. Jesus waited 30+ years before he took up his position as a leader
@go28
@go28 Жыл бұрын
This is a bibical view of how a man should lead his wife. The application may look different. But this is God's view. There are also accounts in the Old Testament scripture on how to live this out and on what not to do. Ephesians 5:23-33 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour our of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
