My daughter and one of her friends worked in the nursery at his church. I attended there one Sunday as well. I really enjoyed the service! I had been sick and my daughter told Pastor Davey that. He came to our home with a bag of food from Maggianos!! He was so kind! He even asked if I needed help around the house with anything! I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated when I saw this story about his wife!!! I’m so glad he has found love and forgiveness!! It has been so many years but when I hear your story, I still mourn for my sister. My brother-in-law was a pastor too. At 10:00 am while he was at work, an intruder broke into my sister''s home where she and 2 of her 3 young children were starting their day. My sister was raped and strangled to death. There was no reason. Her babies were unharmed physically. I shove it out of my mind. Why? She was so giving and loving. WHY?! Her daughter, my niece, died last year 30+ years after her mom. She doesn't remember her mom, my sweet sister. How do we forgive? I still miss my sister. Thank God I believe, but it is still so hard...like it was yesterday. My tears will never stop. I read this story quite some time ago but it was from a different viewpoint accusing him of being involved in this young woman's death. Didn't he leave a door unlocked, when he knew there were burglaries around him and didn't he start dating less than a year after his wife's brutal murder. How many men have we read about married baby another baby on the way and all of a sudden the wife dies, murdered, disappears. I don't know I wasn't there but God was and He knows everything.

The Resonate Church dissolved back in 2019 that Pastor Davey Blackburn was at. I remember this story back in 2015, the couple had a starter home and the area was changing geographically in Indianapolis. It is always smart to have a home alarm system installed and a plan in place in the event that your home is invaded or broken into. I am happy to see that Davey was able to move forward in life, Amanda would have wanted that for Davey and Weston.

I saw this story awhile back on You Tube and I got the impression that he had hired those guys to murder his wife. And he left the door unlocked even though it was dark outside when he left? And his pregnant wife and child were in the house alone? And he left later than usual for the gym. And their dog didn't deter her murder? And after the gym, he was in his vehicle outside his home for a long time talking to a friend, so he wouldn't wake them? I don't remember all the details anymore. There was another case of a wife who poisoned her husband with Fentanyl and wrote a book for her sons about their dad.
