To your question about color blindness the answer is that color blindness comes in many forms and degrees. So I'm heavily red/green with some yellow/blue which means I usually turn on the deuteranopia options in games. This eliminates a lot of shades that would confuse me and makes what matters more distinct. Something to keep in mind is that certain colors don't even register so the reduction in color/saturation/etc can help things stand out to us when it normally wouldn't. Also changing team colors is a great option until every game has skins that totally break said color aura.

I don't have color blindness but a friend of mine who runs one of the local card shops does... and it's hilarious and kinda sad. For example the dude does a bunch of magic draft and other card game drafts but.... the decks he drafts are unplayable sometime despite the fact he is a good player because sometimes he doesn't see the difference in some of the colors so he sometimes drafts cards of the wrong color into his deck and can't even play them lol

Gets so much worse when he changes it to a font that looks EVER MORE like the font on the girls hand 1:03:52 and then later manages to read the number 1 perfectly fine here writen the same way: 1:10:31
