Very innovative!! Do you have any recipes for small kids. Cannot use too much cashew or chocolate. Do you have any recipes with easter eggs made with cake? .
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Michelle. But you could add some cocoa powder or dessicated coconut while making the brown coloured eggs from the biscuit mix in the first recipe (truffle-style). That biscuit mix tastes very similar to cake. And children too would be able to shape this mix into eggs. (A suggestion: You could also mix in crushed peppermint candy.)

Hello dear! Love your Easter Eggs. I am going to try making both of them. Chocolate is very expensive now, and cannot afford to take a chance ruining the eggs. ' Trying ' is definite, as i love variations. Thank you so much Veena. Happy Easter 🐇🐇 and hopefully I will email you soon.
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Thelma. Happy Easter to you and your family too. Look forward to hearing from you. And just a suggestion, the second recipe is much easier and also quicker. No fail. You only need moulds.
@thelmadias83302 жыл бұрын
Veena, I take a good look at your videos. This time, I made the old method of full chocolate eggs and added my dry fruits,but my cashew nuts got a bit burnt. Please suggest a method for roasting full almonds and cashew nut bits. Thank you very much 🥰❤️ in anticipation. Loads of love
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
@@thelmadias8330 , keep the heat at the lowest setting, stir the nuts continuously, and take the pan off the heat now and then if they're browning too quickly. The nuts should have just a few flecks of brown, not get burnt. And roast for not more than 4-5 minutes.

Good Afternoon Veena Im very excited to tell Easter eggs turned 👌👌 Just a small problem I don't have egg mould So I was trying free hand ( It has to look like an egg than only it will look very presentable ) for d shape I try putting in kider joy Isn't that a better option? I appreciate your inspiring rescipe. Stay blessed stay safe & stay connected 🤩😍
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
Jocyleen, I just replied to you about how to make the second chocolate bark Easter eggs. To make an intact egg with the first truffle kind of Easter egg recipe, if you cannot shape the eggs freehand, then use two Kinder Joy moulds. Line both moulds with the biscuit and nut mix. Add a little extra filling so it is a little above the edge of each mould. Then invert one half egg mould on top of the other and press down hard. Remove the excess biscuit-nut mix that gets pressed out. Then remove the Kinder Joy moulds, and you'll have an intact egg. Hope I've understood your problem and solved it.

Well Done Pat-a-Cake! It looks easy. Since there are no eggs in your Easter egg recipe, would you consider yourself a magician in the kitchen? Happy Easter!
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
Happy Easter to you too, Paul. And thank you so much for the appreciation of my video and my talents as a 'magician'!
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
The full recipe here: veenapatwardhan.com/pat-a-cake/2022/04/07/quickandeasychocolateeastereggs/ PLEASE NOTE: When you take the chilled Easter eggs out of the freezer during the course of both recipes, they may 'sweat' because of the sudden change in temperature, and also if humidity levels are high. You could get rid of the condensation by gently dabbing the eggs with a paper towel, or just keeping them under a fan for a while.

Veena, as I have mentioned to u. I don't have egg mould. Pls I need your tip. To use kinder joy. Pls give your tip how I can use ( I should fill 2 halves than join with chocolate to make it look 1 full egg.) Or fill half & cover it with melting chocolate. I'm a beginner. I will be very grateful for a tip Thanks a lot
@PataCake2 жыл бұрын
This video, Jocyleen, is for those who don't have special silicone or plastic egg moulds. Just Kinder Joy moulds is all you need. In the video I have shown how to join two egg halves together. One half has to be filled first (in a Kinder Joy mould). Let it solidify in the fridge. After that, demould that half egg and take it out of the Kinder Joy mould. Then fill this same empty Kinder Joy mould or another empty one with the Easter egg mixture. See that the surface is level. Then invert the half egg you had de-moulded over this mould that you just filled. Press it down gently and place the whole egg in a small bowl (which you could stuff with paper to support the egg in an upright position) and keep it in the fridge to solidify and set. Hope this helps. All the best and Happy Easter in advance.
