But even if you choose either endings, you can see how Viktor was desperate to somewhat have their attention and even calmly represent his idea to them. He didn't shout or yell when he came near them, we don't know what happened to him to become like this "yet" and I can't theorize what he did but even as a machine, he doesn't force people to become like him. He gave robotic limbs or arms to people who needed them and accepted the little boy's help (and probably took him in when he was cast out to Zaun). His ingame voice lines make him sound like a tyrant but he is not a bad person, he has humanity left in him.

It's unbelievable that they removed these from the game and replaced Jinx and Vi paths with dull scenarios with no real storytelling. No doubt they don't have the resources to make illustrated and voice acted stories for every champion in Path of Champions 2.0, but removing the fantastic work they already put in is just mind boggling on the Runeterra devs' part

I like to think the good choices are the canon outcomes (so long as Riot don't say otherwise anywhere else). Just nice to think that later on after all the turmoil we saw in Arcane and the more to come, these characters do get to be in a nicer place with each other eventually.

Isn't his current lore's entire point that he's *not* likable though? If I'm not mistaken, it is explicitly stated that everyone he's ever worked with (except, of course, Viktor) kind of hated his guts, and even his relationship with his closest-thing-to-a-friend Viktor fell apart mainly because of him. He only started to get better after the crystal fiasco, when he realized how it felt to not understand something from the get-go.

In lore, Jayce is INCREDIBLY arrogant, in arcane he's only a little arrogant, so it's a far less interesting character study. Both Viktor and Jayce are flawed, there is no clear "Vik"tor in terms of morality. Jayce has murdered innocent people. And Viktor has turned people into mindless slaves. So...
