Some people just don't deserve to be in a relationship. Leave them for those who are committed. Props to OP for owning up to his mistakes though. I really liked how this was a story for everyone to learn from.

At least OP told it as it was, but I wished he didn't ruin Noah's birthday.. I also experience something similar with someone on my country so I know the feeling, at least on my part we're good friends.

This story really spoke to me, considering I went through similar circumstances with a recent ex. bottom line I believe people that are interested should never in under any circumstance play with heart strings too much and for too long, mabye Noah and OP would've been friends had the OP had made it clear and straight foward that they don't feel that way. the fact that it happened on his birthday adds Weight, I know first hand how difficult it would be to enjoy a day that important because someone important to you somehow doesn't care, let alone to stay and support you and get you back on his feet. OP was really selfish.

@@Tamamo-no-Bae No, OP didn't. OP is selfish. Anxiety issues are no excuse to treat someone like dirt over and over. They treated Noah like a toy they could pick up and put down whenever they wanted.

OP knew they had issues and they still did the thing. Mental health issues aren't a free pass to treat someone like crap.

I think OP definitly has some stuff to work through- and sad to say, I don't know what good could come of a friendship between them at this point. They are doing well in continuing their self-work, and I like that in this narrative, they seem to own their decisions. I hope they can see it in themselves that there will be someone for them in the future- they'll get another chance, and when they do- hopefully they'll take the lessons they've learned and apply them for the best. It's not over!

ngl OP was a real p.o.s. for the story. Playing with someone's emotions not once, not twice, but THREE whole times. And then literally smashing Noah's heart on his bloody birthday!? Dude... actually wtf. I have anxiety too, but seriously? Come on. Still, at the end of the day OP was adult enough NOW to own it, admit it, and realize they were a p.o.s. and are actively working on bettering themselves. I hope one day they can message Noah and sincerely apologise for their b.s. behaviour and then remove themselves entirely from Noah's life for the sake of themself and Noah. That kind of emotional abuse is not ok :T

I had someone like this from 14 who started developing a crush on me. This was over knowing them for a very long time. Didn't work out but I wasn't actively looking to 14 for dating anyway. OP to me seems to have commitment issues. A lot of people do out there and its part of being painfully human in the dating pool. You can be in a relationship and still have commitment issues. I don't think they were actively tying to do harm just a lot of really bad decisions. regardless if Noah forgives OP, OP should really just move on. After 2-3 attempts at having any kind of a bond even a friendship with someone you were intimate with will only leave one/both sides staying unhappy.

I can emphasize with this OP... I know how it feels if you just cant settle with people. The Internet provides a nice protective screen but when that wall falls... I also dont think lesser of him getting in bed with a random guy, either: though he didnt know that stranger, it was safer emotionally. We meme about "emotional damage" but forget that that kind of pain cuts deep. I can understand being afraid opening up to someone else who isnt family...

he has serious commitment issues that devolved into him sleeping with another person. while i don’t like him, he needs to consider some serious therapy. by the third time, he should’ve known that he’d mess noah up significantly after that. he deserved better; hopefully he did get someone who loves as hard as he does.

Hey all my name's Elric Brightsoul (in game). An this video is so FREAKY TO ME. Why?, Well i recently started playing cause of the Xbox beta! and already have had 2 people interested in me. An one of them was a gay guy called Noah.....so hearing this has me like "wtf?" But it's definitely not the same Noah. Cause the one i knew never had relationship that went to real life.
