Patina Touch Up & Painting Trunk & Inner Floors Chopped 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline

Hey Folks, this week I got quite a bit done on the Area 51 project, I seam seal the trunk areas that I hadn't previously gotten around to, spraying a bit of stone guard around and finishing with some hammer finish paint.
Next up the patina touch up, when I painted the fake patina faded look on the whole car, I left a bit at the lower front screen area that I thought would be covered with stainless trim, I was wrong and had to come back with the spray guns and airbrush and create some more faux patina around the upper firewall and lower screen areas.
Finishing up the thrash on the 51 I finally get the interior floor painted in some more hammer finish enamel.

Loved the build since it was bare metal but had to do catch up as my wife had a battle with the Big C. The paint job is looking great & has been fun to watch your process, looking forward to seeing the trim on.

what are you going to do about the windshield? are you cutting and installing yourself? I am planning on practicing on my old one, never cut glass before so i assume im going to crack it

I'm pretty much going to follow the same plan as you. I do have some old spare side glass to have a play with first, I did find a great KZbin video on cutting curved glass a couple of years ago, but I didn't save it so I'll need to do a bit of research again before I go down that road. I was told many years ago that old glass doesn't score and break as clean as newer glass, so I'm kinda expecting to stuff it up to start with too haha,
