If you've got a sliding door that sticks, balks, binds, or grinds, here's everything you need to know to get it unstuck. Easy step-by-step instructions take you through cleaning the track and then adjusting the rollers so the door slides easily again and fits the opening without being wracked. You just need a screwdriver!
Jump to the step you need to know about:
00:00 Introduction
00:31 Assemble your toolkit!
00:51 Vacuum the track using a toothbrush
01:36 Use a crayon or candle to lubricate the track
02:14 Check whether the door is squared or wracked in the frame
03:05 Adjust the roller height so the door fits the frame
03:38 Turn the screw clockwise to raise the door, counterclockwise to lower the door
04:49 Check to see if the door is now meeting the frame properly
