Did you see all the guys in the audience, there are even more guys that are Swifties now, and Taylor's fan base has grown more and more. The media thinks all of Taylor's fans are 13 yr. old girls, Taylor's fans range from babies to Senior Citizens, like me at 64 YO. I say babies because the Swifty parents (who grew up listening to Taylor) use her music to calm their babies down. Taylor's oldest fan was Cyrus Porter a 96-year-old WWII veteran, he has since passed, but 2 years prior she visited him at his home.

Sure, sure, 13-year olds sell out football stadiums, and obviously her fans just stop listening when they’re 16 or whatever. 🙄 Hearing someone say her fans are nothing but screaming 13 year of girls is the easiest way to know someone is clueless about Swift and just parroting things they heard 15 years ago, right? 😂

@@khills Exactly, I try and school them and then tell them to do their research before spouting off old media drama. I recently came across a post of an 83 year old woman who is a new Swifty, I thought that was so cute. There have also been some men in their 50s and 60s making comments about their love of Taylor and her music. I am 64 and have been a fan since day 1, I turned my granddaughter (I took care of her while her parents worked) into a fan, she is now 23, we went to the Era's Tour film together, it was awesome.

I was so stoked to see this one! Your eyes got pretty big when she hit that first big note LOL She's a force to be reckoned with. Having been not anti-Taylor but thinking she was way overrated in the past, I now think that the only people who hold that opinion are those who have never bothered to genuinely listen to her music (true of me when I believed it). I get not liking every song or every sound, but I think it would be a rare individual who wouldn't find either a jam or a song that really hits them in the feels in her catalog. Most of us have several.

Taylor is incredibly talented and it takes a minute because she changes genres like hats. When Midnights dropped I had no idea what sound genre was coming. That creativity is part of the draw though. She plays piano, guitar, banjo and ukulele. Genres have been country, rock, indie, pop, singer songwriter. She wrote her first song at 12 and writes her material and composes. TS created three genres just to write songs and doesn't believe artists should be caged into one genre. Midnights has it's own sound vibe with certain songs. She's a lyrical genius and story teller.
