This song is amazing. I didn’t discover it until just after I lost my dad and I can’t help myself from thinking of that kind of perspective in the song. He was distant/estranged for a long time before we finally reconnected and things were improving, then he was gone. I was happily waiting for him and making future plans to see each other and he never came back. This song tears me apart every time

This song made me fall in love with this album. I identified with it from an old breakup that, at the time, I thought was the end of my world. I see it now as the story of my mother’s life. My folks divorced. My Dad moved on. My Mom, now 85, is metaphorically still sitting in the restaurant, still in love with him some 64 years on now. She never remotely considered moving on. Love will pheck up the 💜

Beautifully written as always. I can honestly say that idk who this is about. It’d be 2012 if she were 23. It’s either Conor Kennedy or Harry Styles (they broke up because she thought he was seeing other people). Starlight was about Conor, so it must be Harry, right? Not that it even matters. As long as Kelce gets in the ex’s list soon, everything can go back to being normal. The abnormal behavior he’s displaying and constant need for attention is so juvenile. He was on the news for being at a Baseball game. WTH?? He used to play BB. That’s not newsworthy. What is newsworthy is his total disregard for supporting Taylor during his downtime. The woman performed a concert in Japan, ran straight from the concert to her airplane, just so she’d make it to his Super Bowl game. He’s done nothing but increase his chances of being in the area of entertainment that he said he wanted BEFORE he started do chase and swoon Taylor. Now that his name is out there, he’s doing everything to stay in the spotlight except for to get on HER airplane to support her. Just a total loser and waste of a year of her life. Hope he gets completely trashed and dragged and cancelled by the media for his narcissistic behavior!! Unacceptable. 🤬👎🏻

He also has mandatory minicamp next week. Tight End University will also be coming up. He is required to attend minicamp and he co-founded TEU. He went to a CHARITY softball event. In his home city. Many Cleveland sports figures were there. He has said that he would travel. He specifically called out Paris and London. He was in Paris and took her to Lake Como for several days after. He was also with her later in May because he recorded his podcast from an overseas location. See May 24th New Heights podcast. London is coming up. She knows that he is a driven career-minded person They both are-likely part of the attraction for them. He returned to the US because he had contractual obligations.
