A true master at her craft. Rachel Lynde became one of my absolute favorite characters from the combined Sullivan projects, and it was because of Patricia's enormous talent and soul that Rachel's heart of gold shone through. Nobody else could have played her. We will never forget Pat Hamilton, forever in our hearts.

I loved the Sullivan adaptations of Anne, my Mum recorded them when they were shown here in the UK in the late 1980s and we watched them until the VHS tape perished. My husband and I watched them last year, he'd never seen them before and he really enjoyed them. I look forward to the day when my own daughters are old enough to appreciate them.

How to find Road to Anvolea with Colleen Dewhurst ? I would like to see those episodes with them together. I have the Anne of Green Gables movie trilogy set

Apart from the Anne of Green Gables trilogy, Colleen Dewhurst was in a total of 4 episodes of The Road To Avonlea before she passed away. Colleen passed away in August of 1991, before RTA began airing its 3rd season in January 1992, so she was unfortunately not able to be in many RTA episodes. The titles of the 4 episodes are: - "Of Corsets and Secrets and True, True Love" -"The Materializing of Duncan McTavish" -"The Quarantine at Alexander Abraham's" - "Old Friends New Wounds (Marilla's Death)" "The Quarantine at Alexander Abraham's" is the 3rd episode of Season 1. "The Materializing of Duncan McTavish" is the 4th episode of Season 1. "Of Corsets and Secrets and True, True Love" is the 4th episode of season 2. "Old Friends, New Wounds" is the 13th and final episode of Season 3.
