does a very good job at transporting me back to growing up in Tahoe, in the summer you could hear a droning similar to that heard in Cicada 1, distant boats or planes swooping through the lake basin. very nice. through and through, warm and nostalgic.

I listened to this 3 times today. It's so beautiful. It touches some of the same emotions that Ambient 1 or 2 by Eno envoke, while being completely different. A real masterpiece of Ambiance. I should really listen to it at midday outdoors.

I'm listening to all the albums in order and I just got to this one today and Cicada 5 was quite a nice experience. I wanted to see if anyone else had anything to say about it but of course the only comment on here mentioning it is complaining about it ;-;. Anyway, i feel quite sad about whatever random british youtuber that was feeling such existential dread about Super Crate Box (i remember that game; it's so old!), and I hope they're not normally in such a state because it was actually rather distressing.
