Every Qb needs someone to pull them up. Could be receivers , running backs or coaching . It’s not Purdy or Tua’s fault they landed in those situations. We don’t know how Mahomes would’ve looked with Arizona or Panthers. I think credit needs to be given to Purdy and Tua.

There's at least 6 or 7 QBs who would be doing better than Purdy if they were on the Niners. Brock is extremely solid, def top 10, but he's not shown he's a guy that he can put a team on his back and carry them to a W like Mahomes/Burrow/Allen/Lamar/Hurts can. Not saying he can't do it, but he hasn't yet. We can reevaluate after the playoffs and if they win the SB, yeah let's move him up then

Don’t know how Nick can’t make the argument Deebo is why Purdy is now in the top 10. When Purdy threw 300 yards and 4 TDs against his precious Dak, Deebo only had 3 catches for 50 yards and no TDs. Or when he had a perfect passer rating against the Bucs , Deebo also had 3 catches for 60 yards and no TDs. When Purdy dominated the Prince’s Jags for 300 yards and 3 TDs, Deebo only had 30 yards and no receiving TDs. Before the Eagles game, Deebo had 1 receiving touchdown all year. At a certain point, you need to give credit for Brock for how much he excels at making his teammates around him better. Just listen to how Deebo and Aiyuk talk about Brock. In all seriousness, at this point we HAVE to all agree that this segment is TOTALLY a joke. I actually thought this segment had some promise and that it could be applied to DPOY, ROY , COY and MVP with actual analysis mixed with some entertainment. It's been destroyed completely by Nick though. The Tiers , Bud List and Upset Alert segments are entertaining but are also mostly objective. I know Nick Wright has his biases but he's entered Skip Bayless-LeBron Territory when it comes to Purdy. He's already there NBA wise with Jokic but he's now become a troll. Also..Geno lost to Dallas but he had his best game of the season..he stays put. Kyler had a good game vs a good Steelers D...doesn't move up. Dak has always been too high. Herbert should fall lower.
