+wazl No Nope, Patrick was loved because he was a great human being, modest, devoted and selfless; never putting himself above others. Sorry you can't handle it. He's never had a bad thing spoken against him unlike so many celebrities. If you can't take it then that's up to you. But I a. Not going to so spend endless times wanting to convince you. Take it or leave it, that's your call. I still stand by my feelings that he was a wonderful human being of that bothers you or you need to know why and what I said is not enough then tough.

The moment when he mentioned generations of fans, made me think of something... I'm 15 now, but by the time he passed away I was four, so I didn't even had a chance to follow him and his work while he was alive, but there is much more people I know of my generation, that loves him even though we didn't even know about him when he was alive. You see, even though he passed away he makes new fans each day. Patrick was one and the only, and he'll never be forgotten. May rest in peace. ♡

a year late of a comment, but i'm 24 though the first time i saw dirty dancing was when i was 19 and i did NOT expect to like it so much and consider it as one of my favourite movies, it was something i watched with my friends during parties and sleepovers when i was in college and up until today i still enjoy everything about it

39 here. This man was an absolute wonder. I remember when I was at work about 15 years ago, a young colleague, who got on well with, jokingly said "I've got a date at the weekend, any advice" I replied "watch dirty dancing with her". Married with 2 children now 😂

This man was literally a jack of all trades! Lets see he, wrote music, sangs, acted, danced, rode horses and owned his own horses, was a pilot and owned his own planes, was a martial artist, was very good looking, and was a super sweet, agenuine and real guy, and hes good at all of those things! I think hes out of everybodys leagues. I dont think shes out of his league! Like holy talent! Was there anything this man was bad at? RIP Patrick. What a man!❤

Fair play he was one talented person.... Dancer... singer..... guitarist.... actor and he even did a lot of his own stunts for Point Break He went skydiving in preparation for it and loved it so much that they banned him from doing it just in case something happened.... which he ignored and continued doing it anyway. He just came across as such a really great person and really humble.... A lot of celebrities today could learn a lot from him.

First of all R.I.P to Patrick Swayze we lost a good one .His memories will be forever be in beaded in our hearts minds through his many movies and songs .You know what’s funny I was listening to a lot of music yesterday.Back Street Boys along with Michael Bolton and yes I’m a African American that enjoys alternative music along with Caucasian artists .And in my KZbin library Patrick Swayze’s She ‘s Like The Wind popped up in my suggestion .So I viewed it because I never new he sung music .So when I tell you I have played this song over 20 times and will continue and this is only day two I mean it from the pits of my soul .This man has been one of the most memorable actors in Hollywood for a very long time .I enjoyed Ghost The Outsiders just to name a few . He has blessed us with so many films along with Dirty Dancing which this song was inspired by .I have so much respect for this man .He’s always been such a handsome hunk and you would think he would have had his share of women .But when he said he’s been marry for 31years and his wife inspired him in this song .That was absolutely beautiful .This song gives me chills and takes me somewhere most can’t comprehend nor fathom .Just so heartfelt and poetic at at its finest .This is what true love simplifies so this song will forever be with me .And I thank God he gave me to opportunity to view this passionate love ballad because who would have known you know .This is by far the top ten songs that speaks to my soul .R.I.P angle you will truly be missed by all that loved you .

According to wiki "She's Like The Wind" was born during the making of the 1984 movie "Grandview USA" and Patrick wanted it featured in the movie for Jamie Lee Curtis, but that didn't happen so it was brought up for "Dirty Dancing" and made the cut.

I have to say that in all honesty, Patrick was truly talented as an actor, dancer & not bad for a singer either...And I most definitely agree with his quote: *Fans are the people that put you where you're at, and they're the people that will keep you where you're at* as I feel it rings true 100% when it comes to being in the entertainment industry/Hollywood...
