Episode Two: How to gain followers on Instagram!
Post more, posting once a day or every couple of days will not help you being visible on Instagram. Diana is with me in the video, she confirms posting more on her own Instagram has helped her reverse the trend from losing followers to gaining followers.
Gain followers by posting more... who would have thought? Where I come from he who wants the fruit must first climb the tree. No cheating here, just good ol' elbow grease to gain followers the old fashion way - post more media which brings value to your audience.
I am also mentionning Story Telling on Social Media, I am not talking about conflict and conflict resolution but about value. The 3 elements which will brings value to your audience.

Sit Down Sunday are the videos in which I get to just sit there and talk to the camera, the kind of video I did not want to make, it gives me time to pause and discuss on a topic or two.
I should really prepare for these in advance, filmed this past Friday with an audience, I should really have an "Applause" and "laugh" sign to make people laugh at the right moments.

Interesting topic. Growing a community is one thing but how do you make sure you don’t lose track of your original purpose? I see many KZbin channels that start with original content and end up doing the exact same thing as the Top 10 channels competing around the same theme, with an obsession about pushing their affiliate links. Curious to have your take about that. Thanks

That should then be the main topic of my next video. I procrastinated a long, loooonng time before launching my KZbin and your main question, "how do you make sure you don't lose track of your original purpose?" touches on why I decided to make the jump, to be the change I want to see in the world, to be the change I want to see on KZbin. And the change I wanted to see was - a stop to the hidden advertising you see everywhere. What I say is always, if you are in it for the followers or subscribers - you are in it for the wrong reasons. It is great to build an audience and do not get me wrong - I want as large an audience as I can get - but my main point is doing it because I love doing it, sharing my love and passion for photography. Also doing it in a way where if I am to advertise something - it will be done completely openly, ni bidding that fact and - then again - do I want to advertise stuff to my community who is comprised of people like me - already overtly bombarded by advertising from 20 different avenues every day... I do not want to be trending, I don't want to do the trending topics, I just want to do me, and share what I want to share as opposed to share what is trending. I will most likely not even touch one the Leica Q2 here - I have videos for it but... one it is a trending topic, two (Leica will not like me for this) I don't want to talk about a product I do not own and don't plan on buying this year or in the near future. If that makes any sense. I am not a camera reviewer.

Patrick Colpron sounds like a plan! Did you get the chance to try Voigtlander lenses? Not too many videos around here about lenses like the Nokton 35mm f/1.2

@@toulcaz31 Not a camera and not a lens reviewer, I will definitely talk about the lenses I use on the Leica cameras and I used a couple of Voigtlander lenses on an M9 in 2012, not using them now and not planning on it either. I just want to review what I own and use. Voigtlander lenses not in my plans at all.

That's unacceptable man! How would you like to be poked at like that?! Did she do anything like that to you? No, she's just laughing uncomfortably. That video is all about getting attention on you by picking on her with what YOU think is funny. But it only goes one way. That's bullying.

That Diana is more Algerian than French tbh. Edit: aaa channel with fewer subscribers is more attractive than 1milion and up channels tbh, focus on content and is not about success of than channel its only about who good and the information that you give.

@@mjcatto I have a D850 too, I love it yet the M10 is my favorite camera. First I never dreamed of owning cameras such as the D850 and a bunch of lenses a few years ago and now two M10 so... anything is possible with a little bit of patience and hard work
