She passed when I was 13 but I listened to her music for several years before then. She was a close friend of another country star that my Dad used to run with. I have so many of her early records that I don't listen to as I don't want to ever ruin them by over-playing the. I also have 4 or 5 CD's that I play very often - to the point I have toreplace them once in a big while. The sweetest, silkiest, emotional power house who will live forever in her music.

One of my favorite songs by Patsy Cline. She had so many great songs though. The only one I don’t like is “I Fall To Pieces”. I think it’s because my sister sang it so often at the Country Clubs we went to that I got tired of it.

The late Alton (Al) Hendrickson did the guitar for this one and for the one Gogi Grant did, he was a studio musician and played for all the major studios. He told me that Gogi Grant took over 68 takes to try and do this song and just didn't get it. Al finally got tired of all the takes and said it goes like this and sang the song, which I still have the original, and said Patsy Cline got it on the first take!

Love the Cline , since I was ,ohh, maybe 10 or 11. Let's not forget the others that crossed over that cold march night , Cowboy Copays , Hawkshaw Hawkins and pilot, manager, guitarist Randy Hughes. He is credited on many recordings. Me and a friend drove down to the crash site, 1991 maybe. That was before that was turned into a nice area. Then, we just pulled over on the side of the blacktop and walked back into the woods a bit , and there it was , the hole in the ground I had always read about. I couldn't believe it. It was deep even after all of those years since 1963. I had to step down into the hole. It was still up to my knees. It had to be terrifying what was happening to them that night. All this time passed and we still miss them. I'm happy we have recordings. Just think how it would be if we didn't . Nobody would know Patsy's music now. The last time anyone would have heard the Cline would be 1963. Our recordings are so valuable. use a good record cleaner.

Here I go Tearing Up with Wet 👀👀 Ass Eye's, fogged Up, & mystified with tears 😭😭😭😭. I Don't Recall the Exact significance of Hearing this Patsy Cline Song on this Bueatiful Sunday Morning 🌅🌄🌅. Other than She was One of My Dad's all Time Favorite Folk Singers, that He would always Play alongside, with His Hymnal, and Gospel Music 🎵🎶 Greats. That would usually & occasionally Be. With the Ringing of Thier Somberly Tone's & Melodies through Our House 🏠🏡🏠. When My Mother, & Sisters and Myself in Toe. Would come in from Church, Early on Sunday Morning. Really I Swear that I'm the Only One, in Our Family that Recall's this Nostalgic Stuff. But Boy O Boy I Sure AS "Hell" Do??. Miss Patsy Cline's Voice was just? So Lovely n Smooth, with that Sweet as Velvet Tone of Her's? IT Was just as though I was Hearing My Mom's own Voice Softly telling Me too go too Sleep the Very Night before. As for the particular Song She's Singing. IT'S a particular One that I've also always favored throughout My Lifetime. I Suppose that it's the idea 💡☺️💡 that like My Dad's Wandering, prior too Marriage & Family Child raising. My whole life seemed too be the same Damn Way. Well that was Decade's Ago, that Patsy used to Softly Warble & Serenade Our Folk's along. But it's Really Nice too REALIZE that She'll Never Be Forgotten. To the 1st Queen 👑👑 of Country Music 🎵 🎶🎵 I'm So Glad that I was Able too Even Know Who She was. Thank You for Sharing these Fond Memories Again. ✌️✌️🤔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️💕💙💕🤍🤍.

The wayward wind is a restless wind A restless wind that yearns to wander And he was born the next of kin The next of kin to the wayward wind In a lonely shack by a railroad track He spent his younger days And I guess the sound of the outward-bound Made him a slave to his wanderin' ways And the wayward wind is a restless wind A restless wind that yearns to wander And he was born the next of kin The next of kin to the wayward wind Oh, I met him there in a border town He vowed we'd never part Though he tried his best to settle down I'm now alone with a broken heart And the wayward wind is a restless wind A restless wind that yearns to wander And he was born the next of kin The next of kin to the wayward wind The next of kin to the wayward wind
