AS YOU ALREADY KNOW BOTH OF THESE GUNS ARE IN THE BENELLI FAMILY OF SHOTGUNS, SO I HAVE BEEN CURIOUS TO TEST JUST HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IS THERE IN PERFORMANCE BETWEEN MY M3500 & MY AFFINITY 3!!
AS YOU COULD SEE IN THE PATTERNS BOTH GUNS REALLY LIKED THE HEVI-METAL LOAD AND IT PERFORMED EXCELLENT OUT OF BOTH SHOTGUNS WITH THE PATTERNMASTER CODE BLACK DUCk

Awesome to see. The federal shot better then the hevi out of my 3500 with the Carlson cremator lr. But I know your m3500 doesn't like that combo. Always been curious about the franchi vs the 3500. Great job! Just a tip for the guys at home patterning your gun old Christmas paper and a pallet work great too if you dont have a big roll of paper handi.

I would really be interested in seeing some pheasant load patterning.. not sure if that is something you all are into but there isn’t much to find on KZbin when it comes to pheasant loads . Any how great video 👍🏻👍🏻

Blue Collar Outdoors USA I shoot Winchester super x 2/3/4 #6 or fiocchi golden pheasant 2 3/4 #6 usually out of a modified choke the area I hunt birds can be as close as ten yards out to forty yards. I know the golden pheasant is designed for longer ranges but would be interesting to see how tight it is up close. also I have heard of people using heavy three inch pheasant loads such as golden pheasant or prairie storm as a turkey load less expensive per round then a turkey load so if they pattern good at all might be a good budget consideration Hope you can find a video idea somewhere in all that lol Keep up the good work

Good video sir. I ended up buying the Stoeger M3500 and this video helped. I had the Franchi Affinity 3.5, Browning Silver 3.5 and the M3500 on the table. The DRT camo pattern M3500 had a much smoother action and seemed to point much better for me than the Browning and FA. LOP is tad long for my T-Rex arms, but I've dealt with that for 40 years. I did however buy some Benelli M2 parts, better sight and the trigger spring kit. Cheap added piece of mind. Subscribed as well. Thanks

I fell in love with the stock. Should have gotten the all black or camo, but I've never been the best at decision making lol

Stoeger and Franchi are owned by Beretta, but Franchi is made in Italy and Stoeger made in Turkey. Franchi is a quality gun. Stoeger is iffy-for every good one, you’ll get a lemon.

Yes beretta holdings owns all the benelli USA umbrella companies but benelli still controls what they import here in the states, it’s quite complicated lol Well both our stoegers were lights out, my Franchi is as well so we can’t complain on our end

I hear that as well but from personal experience I can say i liters abused mine without cleaning, running it in the worst weather half froze mudded up didn’t matter, I didn’t clean it til I did my year review to really test it I love that gun ahahah

Yes the affinity 3 has interchangeable chokes and I’m unsure on a compact model that’d be a question for the company lol
