.650- 267 hits .655- 325 hits It’s interesting that with Herters TSS the 12 & 20 have the same payload and price. I’m getting 294 hits in a 10” with a tight wad in my 320 turkey 20 gauge. Almost pulled the trigger hands loads but there are so many options & I’m not sure how many more pellets I need. 😂

Jake, I have a suggestion for a choke to try in this shotgun, the Carlson's Longbeard XR choke. Works good with TSS that I've seen on other channels.

Yessir we have shot that choke in both both 20 & 12 gauges they are impressive Currently trying to get all chokes for this gun & the 940 as well

How was the recoil shooting those 1.5 ounce loads versus the typical 2.25 ounce 12 gauge loads? For those that don't want or need the recoil of a 3" 12 gauge 2.25 ounce TSS load, I am wondering if the Herter's loads recoil more like a 20 gauge. If so, they might be a good option for the hunter that only has a 12 gauge, but doesn't want or need the extra volume of shot in a 2.25 ounce TSS load. Another benefit is the cost of those Herter's shells is that they are priced like a 20 gauge load. If one is not taking shots out to 60 yards, the extra recoil and cost of TSS shells seems like it is "overkill." Also curious if you guys are seeing more 1.5 ounce 12 gauge TSS loads coming on the market?

@chriswolff8337 honestly if you want to shoot that light of a payload just shoot a 28 gauge as most 28 gauge loads are anywhere from 1 1/4 - 1 5/8 Oz Less recoil less cost and lighter

That’s disappointing about the Birchwood Caseys. I got lucky and found an awesome clearance sale on the old ones a couple years ago, and got a decent stash. Guess I’ll be rationing those for stuff I really wanna see.

I have noticed a bit of a (pattern) here with the lighter payloads and tight choke constrictions,a lot of times they are 🔨 🔨 🔨,but you better be on em,can you imagine a big eyed cartoon turkey on the front of a box of herters seeing the swarm of hornets from that .655 Jebs heading his way.I didn’t get much sleep last night fella’s😂😂
