I love these bingo videos. I always watch the original video first when it comes out, but watching it again here is a completely different experience because it becomes a game of tension lol

I watch all of your friends too and they are always the cheerful moments that we need in our lives and your reaction later on is always just an awesome bonus that's equally enjoyable to watch. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought how you do random abilities was by randomizing a list of 6 abilities then applying them to your best options. I swear I've heard this explanation multiple times, so technically it was still a conscious choice for Speed Boost and Ice Scales.

H-Lilligant is so good in this. Even with Zero Speed, base 70 in HP Def SDef is pretty alright with Victory Dance. Only thing that holds it back is the typing.

You could actually make it only some legendaries. If you randomly pick out 70% of non legendary Pokemon and replace them with a random legendary through a recursive function that'll run until it's done searching through the Pokemon.

I think the point is just that the randomizer they use doesn’t do that. Also, a recursive function like you described is unnecessary and would remove some Pokémon from the selection pool. A better way would be to just give the legendaries a cumulative weight in the random selection equal to 70%. Then you can still get every Pokémon, but legendaries will be chosen over non-legendaries more often, close to 70%.
