That looks so good. My Grandfather makes them, he gonna be 82 this year. I would love for you to teach me how to cook and make your sweet potato pies and other goodies. And I hear as a Philly native you live right outside in the county suburbs I'll come up and visit and maybe you can get Ms. Mariah over as well. I remember the MTV cribs video where you said you would teach her how to cook. 😊 It would be a dream if that happened. I just moved back to Philadelphia to spend time with my family after my cancer diagnosis. I am sorry for you loss I learned recently your sisters had all passed away from cancer. I am praying Father God would heal me. It's all in his hands. Im just trusting I have salvation in the Lord and keep being Obedient to his word and loving people. If I live or die it be alright because he is with me no matter what. God bless you sister Patti. Thank you for sharing your cooking tips. If I make it to Thanksgiving I'm gonna try and make me your version of sweet potato pie, if I can't get it I'll just go buy one of yours. And your bread pudding was to die for. I met Patti about 20 years ago during a photo shoot for an album in NYC. She signed my copy of her autobiography. She was so incredibly warm, sweet & lovely. I remember it vividly. A wonderful memory. I love you Patti & am wishing you all the best. xoxo

I had to have brain surgery 6 months later, even though my head hurt ,seeing you made my life. See I have a bucket list it's a little one and you were the first on my list . Omg i needed a recipe 4 a friends dinner tonite, ty patti!!! I forgot to pick up sweet potatoes2, was gonna make a sweet potato pie,ur pie will do..love you!!!
