Men dying in on the field of battle are often calling for their mothers as this life ends. Forgotten are the nine months we all were all tethered to our mothers in the most intimate environment...it's as if our fresh brains were wiped of all the secret, warm memories. It's almost a secret, separate lifetime (an Eden experience hidden from our birth lives). In these lyrics you can visualize the spirit of Christ whispering by his beloved earthly mother as he leaves this worldly plane back to his celestial dimension...briefly kissing her cheek as he "exits" this life. And Mary, the Mother of God, is left to the chore of "cleaning up the place." Now go read the lyrics of Patty Griffin's "Mother of God" where she again associates the earthly feelings of family and religion with a mother, her children, prayer, aging, and images of the "Mother of God." God creates "sequentially" the lower forms of life first and the higher forms of life last. God created Adam...but LAST, he created Eve. Now go read a biology book about the fertilization and development of a zygote into a fetus. All humans were male at early stages of the fetus development...then males stop devoping and beging fleshing out as males...But, females continue developing from this male form...becoming far more complicated beings physiologically (and mentally) So God created Eve "LAST" as a higher lifeform than Adam. This complies with modern science yet the Book of Genesis was written THOUSANDS of years before there was even the concept of "science." (I'm sorry for this digression) But women are far more complicated beings than men. And, Patty Griffin is an example of a woman writing a song and then composing and singing with such a soulful voice as to infiltrate forgotten recesses of the heart of humanity. (Think of it... women have bodies that can oxigenate two humans for nine months.) The indocrine systems of women are far more complicated and the brain has many more connections to drive these physiologic systems. This is why women have these "visions of the future" so often passed off as intuition. Women are more connected to the astral dimensions of human life. Mythology has recognized this "fact" long begore science and again, read the Creation chapters of Genesis in the Bible.
