Yeah but there comes a time that ya just got to say I am gonna hang it up. The guy is the most prolific song writer in the world according to the Guiness Book of Records… I would agree he is doing it for the fans, but 480 dollars for a nosebleed seat isn’t for the fans now is it? Lets be real its for the money. He is still trying to recoup money Michael got him for buying a lot of his catalog up…

Thats a lot of money to try and make up for. 33 years of not earning any royalties from those songs. Michael on the other hand made a boatload off of them… Either way, retirement would embrace him. And it isn’t a shame to say ya know I can’t do this anymore… But, 480 dollars for a seat in the back where you can’t make out who is who on stage is a little much. Don’t ya think?

People complaining about Paul still touring with his current voice makes me sad... The dude is an absolute living legend. Dude's borderline 80, and gives an incredible show, still playing flawlessly, with a lot of energy, an amazing band, lots of props and refusing to stop doing things by himself. He's giving EVERYTHING he has to keep the show going, and delivering as well, except in what he can't control And even then his voice is still in tune and screaming! I'm glad most of us understand that fact and support him for being such a master, and his audience clearly does too. I'm just dissapointed by the occasional comment saying he should give up and that he's "tarnishing his legacy". I'm always gonna admire Paul, and a "rusty" voice won't change that, nor ever tarnish the incredible legacy this man has.

I'm a Beatles fan, however if he insists on continuing to play live at least alter the act to suit his age. Sit in a chair and do acoustic songs with dignity. He can't jump around a stage like he's 25, it makes him look sad. The voice isn't there anymore, that's not a criticism its just a fact. I can't think of anything better than him sitting playing the Long and Winding Road on an acoustic...dignity is the key.

It sounded the same live. This was my 4th McCartney concert - I went on the 2nd Seattle night - which certainly could factor in since he sings for 2-1/2 hours. This time, it wasn't the surreal experience for me as in the past, just because his voice was so strained, raspy and warbled. I really had to focus on the visuals, the production, and his instrumentals (which are still tight). Wouldn't have missed it - but feel sort of conflicted.

Can’t even believe an 80 year old has the stamina, energy and dedication to do a tour. He doesn’t need to. Yes ticket prices are high but what do you expect from the richest, most-famous musician alive and certainly on of the best of all time? @@davebryant8050 Just how many other near eighty year olds are still preforming where you live? I mean- what do you expect the quality to be if that was not top class for his age group for you? 'A heard of Wild Wilderbeast maybe'. Personally for my age group who was listening to him in the early sixties, myself I find his iconic, and really incredible at age 79. It would be me who would be out of order if my expectations were of the raw rocking sounds of the pre hippy beat boys whilst kennedy was still alive (1962). Come back in forty years time and tell me if you still expect to sould like a twenty year. I recommend you stop going to the over seventies concerts untill some time about the year 2042. As by then you may think that which ever artist is putting on a show for your older generation, that that artist's preformace is something incredible special. Do you expect a piece of cheese to reduce in price the older it gets? (Just in case you thought I was saying Mr. Mccartney was a piece of cheese (I was not) I was comparing aging with a aging cheese). Sorry. But the world does not work like that. The older the cheese gets the rarer it is to find such well matured curd. So rarity values apply and the chease increases in price/value rather than decreases. Same with wines sometimes and even some motor vechicles. Think of Leonardo's Mona Lisa. It's not getting cheaper the older she becomes. Then also there are aging houses, castles and masions. Till they get so old (Stone Henge) they are above price (Priceless)! My guess is the point you are missing here is that your ticket price is for something 'priceless or near priceless'.

He's still a great musician, but he shouldn't sing for those kinds of audiences, for 200+ bucks. And I know how high and mighty this sounds, but sportspeople also have to accept when their body doesn't allow them to continue and they become coaches. Macca could still write and perform with a young singer, but of course it's difficult to let someone else sing your #1 hits after all these years

His voice is impeccable. Maybe I’m amazed is the proof. The notes are in perfect pitch. It’s the wind that’s just beginning to fade. Unreal how he belts that song still in 2022. People trained to sing can’t nail it that well and we’re all talking about Paul losing 1/10th of what he had. He’s still better than a dreamer like me could ever hope to be. LEGEND 🙏🏻

When the movie was over I walked out of that theater and I was engulfed by The Beatles and have been a FAN fore ever - they were so great - funny and as cool could be and still are - A real blessing to the world - Thank You - John-Paul-George and Ringo . This live rendition of an 80 year old Paul singing his signature, break out solo hit is possibly the best “live” version of this tune that I’ve heard. It sounds to me that the great experimentalist in him is not lamenting any loss of his vocal range. Instead the never ending artist in him continues to make art, painting with what colors he has left in him and not really being all too concerned about ones he’s lost. He also has a great band that love him and his music and always hold him up where he needs to be.

Thank you so much for posting!! 🙌 My autistic daughter, who just turned 15, is a Beatles super fan for as long as I can remember. She knows the exact order of songs of every single album, she plays multiple Beatles songs on uke & piano... a few years back I took her to Vegas, to Cirque Du Soleil's LOVE and there's just no words to describe her total, overflowing happiness... When Covid started and tour was canceled, Paul said that him not being able to ever play live again was a real possibility... It was totally devastating... Fast forward to this new tour: I got tickets for me and my daughter to see Paul in Orlando 6/28 (he'll be 80 by then) and you guys have just no idea how incredibly excited my daughter is about finally being able to experience Paul live! (and me sharing that incredible moment with her!!!) Gracias totales, Paul! You are the absolute GOAT 🎶🤟🙌💫💪✌🙏
