@Marino I used to work in a sporting goods store, and we sent back quite a few Taurus G series for repair after a few hundred rounds or less through them from customers. Although I would say it was a small percentage of the number of taurus that we sold (we sold a lot of them ). I have not had any problems with my Taurus revolvers. They are good shooters, small and larger caliber.

I once read about an old guy in Alaska who got his face torn off by a brown bear as he slept in his tent. The bear knocked the guy's revolver out of his hand. From then on, he slept with the gun duct-taped to his hand. The article didn't discuss whether his covers might have posed a ballistic impediment. It also didn't mention whether he was married. But probably not, considering he was already horribly disfigured.

He gives pretty good advice in my opinion being a shooter myself who does scenario drills like playing down. The only thing I disagree with him on is shot capacity. If 6 people break in to your house you better hope you can make your shots in poor lighting and being disoriented. 2 to the chest and one to the head. 3 shots per person. While rare, a group of home invaders is common enough to be a problem. Although I would keep a snub nose beneath my pillow and fight to my AR. A revolver to so it doesn't need a slide to fly back which would cause a malfunction beneath a blanket or close to your body.

This just may be one of the best YT vids I\ve ever seen!! I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing, while also getting educated on shooting from bed (in the rain, no less!).
