I have only one container of them and I have only used one blade in an effort to keep them for special occasions, but seeing you use yours for the past two weeks has me itching to use one again soon! Happy Sunday Paul! Another fantastic floral arrangement...thank you Mrs. H!! Glad to see you are giving the vintage Gillette Super Stainless blade in the Muhle R41. It is a sharp and smooth blade for sure. Let's see if you can get through with being bit by the beast. That shave progressed nicely. Hardly a drop of blood. Great shave! Believe it or not, Gillette does produce some modern blades that nearly equal the Spoilers performance. YMMV. I think the Brazilian Gillette Platinum Plus blade comes the closest. The PPI Gillette Rubie blade is another contender, but the longevity isn't up to Spoiler standards. Thank you for sharing Paul. I really enjoyed watching. Take care.

Nice shave Paul. I like the Palmolive shave creams. That's my standard, I usually take that with me when I go away on holiday, etc. I didn't know that they made a Sensitive version. I usually get the menthol in the green tube.

Hi Paul. Great Shave. I have shaved with that shaving cream for years. And it is very common to find here in Portugal and is very cheap. I have changed to Proraso sensitive collection 2 years ago and i don´t want anything else. Very good combo with my Merkur Future Gold. Oh and i have been using the Witch Hazel with tea tree oil you sugested. And now i am with the gods. :) Thank you Paul and please continue with the vídeos and with the sugestions, combos and the new techniques. Big hug of friendship for you right from here Portugal. Hi Paul! Great shave! I don't mind if you're silent every now and then, it only enhances the meditative aspect of shaving! I was to the supermarket in the nearby town and they had lots of Palmolive shaving sticks but the price was at bleeding 6£ each, ouch! I would pay that for a 100 gram stick though. Last time I shaved I was inspired by you using the Nivea Body shave stick and I was surprised of how nice the lather came out, really good stuff in my opinion. it had great glide but no sent to my nose. also saw on the box that it has 0,1% aloe Vera. for a sensitive cream with no other scents or notes, you would think they would up the aloe Vera content. my thought anyway. but Palmolive is a top shaving cream. always consistent in shaves. top marks.

Out of (sheer) curiosity, what's the date code on the blade? Another interesting video would be a comparison of the Spoiler to its apparent modern equivalent, the Gillette Super Stainless from St. Petersburg. I've tried each and can't really tell them apart.
