Just test drive this car , quite impressed with the engine, speakers and 8 proximity sensors . Touch screen is good too . My only complaint would be the lacking of key less entry , push start and the lack of a high tech meters panel . Otherwise it is a good car.

Why do you mean you can't have more airbags due to the original structure? The original Accord 3.5 in Malaysia has 6 airbags!

Listening to the man himself explaining what`s going on with the current Perdana, now I am understand what makes it unsatisfactory to me at first. Am looking forward to the next model as they say, don`t buy the first batch but buy the latter so they will correct the weaknesses.

Yes, generally CVT reduces fuel consumption but depends on how you tune it.

Being a scientist, what i would say, its not to follow the trend, its about developing a trend, and thats what being lacking for a very long time in PROTON... i would say 3 DECADES, or 30 years.. its enough time to build an empire..

+iqbal amran though m not malaysian.. i had been here for 7 years.. i would love to see proton competing with top class cars.. its a simple rule in research and innovation.. following reaearch in a already trending area is not a contribution, its difficult to compete, be an inventor, creating new things new trends is the key to success..

Proton should makes its engine developement process quicker so that it is able to build its own car with it own engine and produce a quality car that is chaeper than what the market has to offer. afterall, that is the only quality we are waiting for from our national car maker- high qulaity car, cheap price
