Is Viscera Seer a good add to the deck ? Only for start the combo and maybe a helpfull scry ? Maybe try some snow lands and astro/prism, because I think that Lotus Petal and Prisma-boy are very inconsistent, Lotus is "okay" in a pauper combo, but Prisma-boy is slow and expensive in his filter ability

Disturbed Burial seems way better than Grim Harvest in this deck. You need half as much colored mana to cast it and recur it and you can still tutor for it.

I don't think it's better, because is not instant speed so you cannot revive your creature with the trigger of the draw in the stack. Furthermore, you need to pay the buyback when you cast the spell, while with Grim Harvester you can sacrifice (2 mana), revive, and sacrifice again (4 mana) before you get to pay the recover

I’ve tried this deck, and instead of building I sideboard, I set it up so that you can just swap to a value plan, feels pretty good so far.

•Changes Proposed in the comments: -Weather the storm instead of Moments peace -Include one bloodthrone Vampire main -Kaya's Ghostform instead of exhume -Disturbed burial instead of Grim Harvest (Lose instant speed, needs less colored mana to keep it) -Maybe get culling the weak back in the deck -Add an additional mulldrifter - Burnt Offering

16:00 glad i'm not alone, i've actually done that in the past xd. Transmuted Tolaria West, saw another Tolaria West and thought "oh man sweet i can transmute it next turn for a Summoner's Pact so i can win the game". When i finished shuffling my deck i was like "wait.. wat". Great video as always, friend, these decks are spicier than mexican food.

One of the funny things about Zubera Storm is the first 1-2 turns it can look like you're playing Mono-B Ponza. Happened to me in Leagues once, then I got confused once they dropped a blue land.

I think you should be running the one-of Bloodthrone Vampire no matter what. When you Can't find an Ashnod's Altar, Your shred memories give you a sac outlet that you can use to draw into the Altar with,

I don't see a way to consistently draw into the altar. There's a bit of card draw, but the Zubera is a catch-22 in that case. Maybe add a 1-of 2-drop sac outlet that can be tutored up?

I'm hyped for this deck, it seems pretty good! Like others said, Weather the Storm seems nuts here, storm counts go really high when you were just cycling through stuff. We could also maybe play some number of Survivor's encampment just for the fixing? Since we mostly dont care about tapping our stuff and it doesnt enters tapped. Maybe it just ends up making the deck clunkier, but theres the upside in letting us play more off color stuff in the board (Weather, nature's claim......). If we could consistently cast weather when we can easily hit high storm counts, aggro/burn shouldnt be a problem to the deck. Green also lets us hate on relics, though theres also ingot chewer in red that can get undying in a pinch? anyways, great content! List is great!

Weather can also be tutored with shred memory lol. Maybe we just go with Naturalize because of that as well? Going up on the green zuberas is probably better than cabal ritual as well. It generates a ton of mana, a lot easier to go off

Hey, we just played!(11pm mst) I was playing a modified version of this deck with street wraith, I didn't realize I was on bo1 queue and was gonna send this on the sideboard screen when you asked. I moved dripping tongue zubera and disturbed burial(over grim harvest) to the sideboard and cut one swamp for 4 wraiths. I felt like the deck had more mana then it needed and the green zub felt a bit win more to me and seemed like a better sideboard plan against gy hate and wraiths seemed like the best cantrip effect that was also efficient on combo turns. Was the first time testing that change though. I tried to send you a message on mtgo but i dunno if it went through. Didn't mean to be that guy who doesn't gg so, GG. (i totally don't gg normally, but you were playing petal-mane so I definitely would have because I respect the jank)

Hey good games! Yeah the bo1 queue sneaks up on you sometimes haha. Disturbed burial seems like a strict upgrade, so good catch. I'm interested to try the wraiths. I definitely don't mind playing a 56 card deck. And haha no worries, and expect a new brew with petal-mane soon. Zuberas are spirits ;)

Ohh yeah, I just realized, I'm the 3rd round opponent with Corrupt Control! Unfortunately your deck is hit by all the anti-Tron sideboard cards: more Distress, Relic of Progenitus, and Shadowfeed which is in the SB to fill two roles against Tron/GY decks and burn. The Sovereign's Bite is also an anti-burn card, but I sided it in just because my maindeck had too much purely irrelevant cards vs. yours. I couldn't play Pestilence, since playing it onto an empty board would make it just fade away during my end step.

maybe the rules have changed, but when double blocking the opp can't assign more than lethal dmg to one creature in order to not deal dmg to the other.

I'm pretty sure they can do that. You just have to assign at least lethal damage, but it doesn't say you can't do more than that

So I think I found this channel a few weeks ago and have been having a blast watching your content, despite draft/cube not being my favorite thing to watch, and am super excited that you started doing pauper stuff since its one of my favorite formats. I also noticed that you did a tortured existence value deck, do you plan to return to that deck, or do you plan to focus on these combo decks? I personally really enjoyed this deck and would like to eventually see the changes you settle on, but it has been a while since you first did the tortured existence deck. Any thoughts on running a Drift of Phantasms to transmute for Alter? Its a little slow but its basically extra copies if needed.

I like the idea of adding a 5th copy. However could also play bloodrhrone vampire maindeck or use perplex as a transmuter i/o drift. Perplex probably has broader application when not transmuted and its transmute cost is less prohibitive (1UB i/o 1UU)

@@CalebGannon also I would say when side boarding with combo decks remember to shave cards from across the deck instead of cutting all of one. just like in the match where you cut all the lotus petals to play duress but lost to not drawing the petals I think it would have been better to cut one petal, exhume, a shred memory, and one more card of choice as this leaves a least one copy of all the important cards in the deck while giving you the ability to play the long game while setting up a turn where you can duress them and then try and win.
