thanks for the guide, i am watching it while waiting for my 03 air unit to come in the mail. i have never put a quad together before, i had a racing analog 800mw vtx back in 2014 so it's been a while. I notice these screws are smallll.... what kind of screwdrivers do i need?

Hi, yes you need a small Phillips head screwdriver and some hex drivers. I have been very happy with my NewBeeDrone Tool kit (has about everything you need to get started). This Kit also has a set of hex driver bits that are common for FPV. newbeedrone.com/collections/all/products/tool-kit . There are others like this if you do not need a soldering iron.

I just got my Pavo20. I'm trying to put it together but I'm having trouble stuffing the grommets into the holes. Is there a trick to it? I've destroyed on grommet just using force. Any advice? Thanks!

I use a pair of blunt nose tweezers. I get it started by pinching the sides together and push one end into the hole. A small flat head screw driver helps push the bottom edge of the grommet through the hole. I flip the frame over and gently pull the edge with the tweezers. I continue pushing and pulling until I can get my fingers on the edge and just keep pulling the bottom edge through going around. Every one probably has their own way of doing it. This is just my way.

i saw in another review that a portion of camera guard is visible. Did you find that to be true?

Which video are you talking about the 03 camera guards are visible??? Cuz I do have air unit 03 system myself and I can 💯% confirmed that the guard on top and bottom of the air unit 03 camera are NOT visible, not at all! Plus the props are not in visible too! Are unit 03 system have 155° degree angle in the view, I can confirming to you that no the guards on 03 camera are not visible at all. And you are welcome 🤗😁

Yeah. Another reviewer advised that the 03 had visible guards but I was wary of his assessment and wondered if he incorrectly installed camera. Other videos did not show any visible guards on the 03 (like yours), so i thought I'd get a 2nd opinion. Thanks! @@indroneswetrust1

Hi, Yes you can but not with the factory settings. I answered a similar question below but here is my response: @Kaesebrot100 is correct. Hi 👋, thanks for the feedback! As far as the case question, no I don’t know of any. You might look into a small DJI FPV Avata case and modify it with an exacto knife. SLOG

Between the Pavo pico and Pavo 20 which one is better for real estate videography.

Even though Pavo 20 is larger, I think it is better because of the frame design. I have no issues with jello in the video indoors or outdoors. I know reviews of the Pico complain they have to play around with it to get clean video (why I went with the 20). Also, the Pavo 20 is still small enough to fly indoors. There is also the new Pavo 20 pro, but you are stepping up to an even larger and heavier quad. Please keep in mind I am not a professional videographer, just a hobby for me. SLOG

To be honest I have not messed with the LED strip colors and blinking patterns, just have one color with an aux channel that turns everything on or off. I use this as a cinewhoop for videography so the LEDs are usually turned off. Thanks and yes, the factory Betaflight settings are already setup to use an AUX channel that you can map to a switch.

Yes you can set the camera angle level (0 degrees) and fly it indoors. However, I think it is a little large and heavy for someone learning to fly. I learned to fly FPV with small 65mm whoops which are perfect for flying indoors. Once you get experience, then yes it is a great little quad to capture HD video inside a house.

Hello, I bought a Pavo 20. Before installing O3, I was flying with 2-cell and 3-cell batteries without any problem. But after installing O3, it does not fly at all with 2-cell batteries, and with 3-cell batteries, it flies at 90% throttle and with difficulty. where is the problem from ? I have a 2 cell battery : tattu 450mah 75c and a 3 cell battery : boslipo 650mah 95c

Hello, Even though the flight controller is rated at 2S-3S, the documentation on BetaFPV states that you should be using 3S (3 cell) batteries for the PAVO20. betafpv.com/products/pavo20-brushless-whoop-quadcopter “Note: 2-4S is for the Pavo20 frame, this Pavo20 quadcopter only supports 3S batteries” “Only 3S 450mAh~650mAh LAVA 3S 450mAh 75C Battery LAVA 3S 550mAh 75C Battery”. Not sure why you have to fly with full throttle but I would try a fresh 3S battery of the approxomate size as listed above. I would also check to see if you have a bad motor (use the motor tab in Beta flight configurator with props off to see if one is spinning weaker than the rest). Cheers, SLOG

Hi, I know it is confusing but some FPV quads come as Ready To Fly (Comes With Controllers and in some cases goggles). This is a Bind and FLY which means you bind it to a controller that supports the RC control link. In this case it is ExpressLRS. For this model you also have to install the DJI O3 air unit. So to answer your question why? Because it is a cheaper option if you already have a controller and goggles (not added into the cost). SLOG

Hi, thanks for the feedback! The first half was raw footage no stabilization. Did have a ND8 filter on. 2nd half, raw footage but used post stabilization processing with Gyroflow. No color grading was done. I like showing the videos of builds with stabilization off so you can see how well the quad flies and what the tune is like. Cheers, SLOG

dji controller will be fine, but you need to change something in betaflight
