I collect boxing memorabilia from this time period. The expert was spot on with prices for the unsigned pair. I actually own those postcards (not the ones on the show but the same prints) and paid around $20 a piece. They were made around 1921.

Agreed, plus that boxer was once Heavyweight champion of Europe and fought Jack Johnson for Heavyweight champion of the world (he lost but still). He was also world light heavyweight champion of the world.

Georges Carpentier, this little unknown French boxer was "only" twice light heavyweight world champion in 1920 1921... Before WW1, he was champion of Europe. During WW1, He fought bravely as a pilot and won two of the most prestigious military French medals. So Rick, do your homework and show more respect for French people...
