My Daughter passed away in March 2022. After her passing my health took a turn for the worse. I am diabetic, after she passed my blood sugar levels were out of control. A1C has been as high as 14+. I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, & my kidney function is low 36% and that is the function in both kidneys. I have had urinary tract infection, bladder and kidney infection. I take antibiotics and 3-4 days after I finish my antibiotics the infection is back. I have been hospitalized for mersa , pancreatitis, kidney stones and infections over the past year. I am 32 I have every symptom you named along with ferocious migraines. I also have Crohn’s disease. My father died of kidney failure and my brother passed last year at 36. I'm type 2. I've heard conflicting comments from different dr's about insulin injections. I'm currently taking 40mg at bedtime. I have had close calls with my life , clots and DVT , Anemia, and I have Lymphedema from waist down to toes , I have difficult last 4 years with extreme fatigue and between that it’s type 2 with PCOS, Gerd, gall stones about 4-6 and I have almost no teeth from everything altogether . I recently have become very tired. My skin around my abdomen is very itchy, I feel heavy and it's hard to stand for even a minute. Every time I eat my stomach hurts. My doc has no idea and doesn't even want to discuss it anymore. I just had a d-dimmer test yesterday and it was at .99 so they did an ultrasound for a blood clot. No clot. I have felt so bad for so long... my nails have become rippled curling and brittle. I'm eating way better than before. Lost a little weight 9lbs and my a1c I've gotten down to 5.7 so I should be good right? Why do I feel so bad all the time? I'm always dizzy and have fallen several times. I've had like 3 blood tests over the past 3 months and the results are getting better. I'm at a loss. So is my doc.

I have a now former friend (she complains every day about everything and everyone) who has all these symptom and more. She has degenerative arthritis in one knee with a different condition in the other and she is bipolar 1. She constantly complains about her pain and about the fact that doctors will not give her strong pain killers which would be processed through her fatty liver and damaged kidneys. It surprises me that she has not had a more severe stroke than I had as a side effect of chemo. She constantly stresses herself out over everything and the only way she can relax is to smoke. I am of course using the word "relax" there loosely since smoking will only make her condition worse. She is 60 years old now and I fear she is in for either one doozy of a stroke or heart attack if she does not start taking care of herself.

Can you make a video for people who have donated a kidney. What happens, what to expect in the future, what are the normal creatine levels a person should have. I could never find a video on this. I donated to my father years ago when I got out of the Army because everyone was to scared to do so. Tbh I haven’t been taking care of myself like I should and I work away from home and rarely see my doctor . The last time I went I asked what the normal range for having one kidney and she didn’t know. I missed my appt with the kidney doctor because they kept rescheduling and not telling me. Since I’m only home 5 days out of the month it’s hard to go get checked. I’m a bit concerned because I have multiple of the symptoms you mentioned. Sleep apnea and it’s getting worse, pain when I finish urinating sometimes, I feel like my feet look a bit more swollen , before they were very vascular , I work out 5 times a week minimum of 3 times a week. I’m extremely tired even when I take 200 mg of caffeine with 25mg of ephedra to force myself to get up to go to work. I urinate multiple times at night. I don’t remember the last time I had a good nights rest. My left toe on my left foot has a slight numbness to it. I keep keeping small annoying pains on my lower back and in the sides of my waist and doesn’t feel like muscular pain. I’m actually scared to go get checked because I don’t want to hear the bad news. I have had foamy pee for years and all tests i ever did showed that I was ok. Now that I am diabetic I am taking new interest in my foamy pee, but I have a lot of things to deal with and am scared to go for a checkup. After reading some comments, I guess I will. Even as I write it I feel like I am scare for nothing since I ride my bike 20 km per day, go to the gym and never feel tired and have no swelling anywhere. But I will go check... lab is down the road and costs very little... and has no waiting time over 5 minutes ... and you get your results in like 2 hours...

Not really. Egfr is recommended for those with already chronic kidney disease. It fluctuates a lot. Creatinine is more accurate.
