The plaintiff used to be close friends with the defendant. She says she loaned him money to help pay for child support backpay, but he hasn’t repaid her, so she’s suing. The defendant argues they were actually dating at the time. He says he already paid her back in full, so he isn’t sure why he’s even in court.

And she has other health problems. her parents still fight. so we're trying to move out soon. hopefully us moving her out of there can really help her mental health.

I know this case is from several years ago so hopefully the plaintiff has grown up mentally since then. But I always find it interesting when people like the plaintiff try to talk and sound like a mature adult. When in fact the plaintiff still has the mindset of a very naive 16 year old girl. Which is exactly why she got herself into the situation she did with this guy.
