+1 for the black flashbangs. I'd sometimes have headaches, even having to physically look away. Also, rename inventory pages is really useful to manage inventory.

@@silvergaming3953 flashbangs dont have much impact on your vision, more your ears, the real ones are supposed to simply confuse you, but due to loud noise they also affect your brain so, in a way, you are not blinded by a flash, but it seems like so due to your brain

The "dirt" camera texture exists because it is a stylistic feature of some heist movies, I believe. I get why people want it gone but as a fan of heist movies I could never remove it.

I've always assumed it was meant to simulate dirt on protective lenses inside the masks. However, your explanation makes a lot of sense, especially given how much Payday was inspired by gritty heist movies, like _Heat._ I like the effect as well. I've never had any trouble seeing things because of it, including drills, but I can see where some people wouldn't care for it.

The reason why the PD2 sensitivity is so high is that the actual values for sensitivity are 0.3 at the low end and 0.7 at the high end. "Sensitivity fixers" change the low end to 0.0 and the high end to 1.0 so that you have a wider range of sensitivity values to choose from. As to why they went that route with it, I have no idea. There are lots of things in the code that make no sense at all.

i never knew that you had to drop Beardlib into the mods folder, i always just left it in the payday 2 folder and everything worked pretty well. maybe now after i drop it into the mods folder, some stuff will work

Akimbo single fire is not a QOL weapon, because it substantially changes the balance of the game in favor of high damage Akimbo weapons. Perfect Viewmodel kind of depends on what you do with it, it can make quickly and accurately firing the Repeater sniper rifle from the hip much easier, since the gun completely covers up your point of aim when it's ready to fire.

The camera dirt spots when you look at certain light sources are to simulate looking through the mask which supposedly has some kind of hard plastic cover over the eye holes on the inside of the mask

My personal QOL mod list to add : Bag tilt removal - great for people who get nauseous from the tilt. no screen shake - good for people who want precise shots with automatic weapons. Low violence mod - near ds difficulties sometimes fill the screen with bodies. This erases the bodies in loud. Grace don't kill civvies - a must for sniper players. Any kind of more profiles mod - if you play loud and want to have many builds this is pretty much a must. This might be controversial but, if you're like me and like DSOD but don't want to spend the little time you have grinding infamy, XP bank - you get to store 70 percent of XP per hiest after you hit lv100. Edit: proving grounds is like enemy spawner on steroids. It even has a training area with assult waves.

For borderless windowed mode, can't you just force it in the properties tab/launch options for the game on steam? I don't think I've ever really ran into a game where I couldn't use -windowed -noborder in the launch options. And I think its easier than trying to find a mod for it, when its already built in via steam.

I guess, but it’s hard to argue that it’s a weird way to balance it sense-wise. Dunno why they never let us toggle between single shot and two-shot burst for akimbo weapons, or full auto/single shot/two shot burst for automatic akimbos.

The main disadvantage of using Akimbos is the fact you don't have a primary weapon, you just have 3 secondaries. On Mayhem and above, that's more than enough to balance Akimbos imo. The 2 shot thing is just annoying

@@tTaseric Not to mention the huge loss in stability. It can be mitigated somewhat, but at the cost of several skill points. Their effectiveness, too, on higher difficulties can be improved greatly with skills such as low blow and body expertise, but at a further cost in points.

The suppressor was probably made of a realistic measure. But it still doesn't make sense, revolvers can't be silenced (except for a Nagant revolver)

I don’t think I’d ever get rid of the dirt texture. It adds a lot of (no pun intended) texture to the game’s cinematic aesthetic. Without it, the game looks far more generic

idk somehow i like the dirt camera, i mean in other games i would probably hate it but for me it fits well, maybe i am just too used to it :D But the Drag & Drop Inventory OwO damn thats neat! I usually delete my whole weapon inventory everytime i go prestige because it is so cluttered even if i try to sort it, it soon looks like trash, i loose the overview and to sort it again is way to stressful.
