You can charge your beam when you are in a damage cutscene with bosses, like when samus is flipping around. Good way to get another charge shot off. You can get two extra charge shots off in the parry animation with Corpious. 10:00

They already making calculus with the weapons, because they already get from the code the weapons' damage / DPS. So I believe some boss fights will change, eventually cutting some precious seconds.

The Game is about 8-11 Hours first Play. That's the perfect length for a game without feeling to be streched out. Besides that length does not matter, what matter is a replayability factor. A Game can take 3 Hours to finish first try but if you can take like 50 different routes you get a lot of fun with that game rather then with 5 hour games being fun only once

1:16:30 maybe kill door monster then run back to the edgar, start speed boost while shooting the door then at the last frame of the next screen dash to get a few frames saved? 1:09:32 start speed boost at that spot then wall jump onto that top left platform in the next room?

Hi Oats, I just finished 100% in 13hrs+ and I love how easy you make this look even it was pretty skill demanding. The controls and and the response animation after button inputs feel so right in this game that it reminds me of Strider 2014. If you haven't played that game, why don't you give it a look some time? I am pretty sure you will enjoy the controls. Plus, you would help a game to become more visible. It definitely needs that.

30:19 you can parry against their attack right before the the flash, not sure if all flashes and parries are like this. 40:28 slide and you'll finally pass it lol I feel like there's a way to fall faster but I dunno the method. For flash shift you can press x to go into spin so it's a bit faster than floating in the air for a bit then fall. 1:29:24 my turbo controller is fast, maybe that guy has a bad turbo controller. I do not like how fast you can shoot beam though since it seems to be the optimal option for Speedruns and using a turbo controller can be seen as cheating because you're not using your actual skill of mashing. I can't mash as fast but props to whoever can. For the final boss I charge storm missile whenever he does the homing rapid shots and I space jump around and when I'm above him I shoot down, you don't need to home in on him, a charge missile shoots 3. Since you don't have space jump you used a different method and got a missile or two on him plus missing him. Not sure which does more damage.

Hey oats, for morph ball emmi quick kill duck as soon as you step out of omega beam room and spam shoot wide beam. This will bust open a wall for morph emi to come right for you.

is it just me, or do EMMI usually give Samus some sort of mobility upgrade? Spider grip, morph ball, speed booster. I know one has the ice missiles, but ice missiles aren;t used for any sort of platforming in this game.

As someone who has backed up their game to emulate on PC: Water cooling your switch would not help much. It seems that load times are not that much better when being emulated on a 3080TI with an i9 9000k CPU, leading me to believe that they are mostly hard-coded load times with a variance of only a second or two.

Yes it takes longer. Mainly bc killing Kraid takes you to a teleporter that goes directly to grapple.

@@46jerdboy Ah that's right. Purple teleporter. So now the question is, would the grapple > bomb > ohko Kraid be useful for 100% runs? I feel like most of the sequence breaks are going to be in the 100% run and not in the any % at this point. For example, the crossbomb sequence break is obviously not useful at all for any% but could be good for getting items near gravity suit and screw attack that require it. IIRC there are some crossbomb puzzles near screw attack.
