I searched in my car for a long time and couldn't find that wire. Thanks for the Video all the drawings online showed this connection at the back near the Firewall. Maybe all the old cars.

Save 4 minutes, skip to 4:20. Fixed that one ground cable, then skip to 16:00 for results. You're welcome.

Great video having same electrical problem on my 04 jetta dash lights flicker stalls and loses all power sometimes at red lights takes couple time trying to get started again acts like battery dead but had tested and battery good

Not sure want to check but only have valet key afraid to unhook battery don't want it to reset immobilizer or car alarm not sure if it will or not don't want to find out hard way would like to know for sure first

My 03 ALH has been doing this thing where i shut the car off, and lose all power, trip and clock reset and after 5-10 minures of waiting, it fires right up no problem

I have issue my golf mk4 tdi drains batery 20 min after i left locked or not so i do test negative with negative with 1 wire mod bulb and light goes on 😢 can u help me what to do next

Just curious, could I unplug it and plug in a new one, or is it apart of the wiring harness and I'd have to splice in a new one?

The ground wire is plug and play no need to splice anything

Been having this problem, my car shuts off and absolutely will not turn back on at red lights or idles. Hopefully this work

Why so hurried - is he in a race? Slow down! That soldering was crap, get a high power electric iron, fit heat shrink and just take more care.
