Hey Jeremy! I actually grew up in Timmins, which is just north of Sudbury. I’ve been in London now though since 1996. I had no idea they would have all those vegan options up north. It’s usually your typical meat and potatoes, hunting and fishing town up there. Loved seeing that they now are expanding with vegan places to eat! If you come to London (which I know you have), try V Spot, Plant Matter Kitchen, and Beertown. V Spot is more the indulgent comfort food and awesome donuts. PMK more healthy vegan food, and Beertown is pub food…not a vegan place but they have an entire vegan menu that basically is same as the regular one but made vegan! So you’re not stuck with a salad or a burger as your only option.

Hello from Edmonton, Alberta! Edmonton has a lot of vegan options, my fav is Padmanadi (Thai/vietnamese fusion) Covid did a number on our restaurants here, especially the plantbased ones. Goodstock is an amazing whole food plantbased family owned place that offers homade frozen and fresh meals.
@pbwithjeremy11 ай бұрын
I LOVE Padmanadi. I tried to do an Edmonton video last time I was there, but like you said, lots of places were closed and it started to seem a little depressing - so I didn't finish it up. I' LOVE to go to Padmanadi with a big group where we could order a bunch of dishes and share :) Mmmmmm. Moth Cafe is one of my favs when I'm there too :)

@@pbwithjeremy Aww. Hopefully, all the other great fare you got to enjoy made up for that one. Reminded me of the time I went to a burger dive in a small town and made the mistake of asking for a salad. They brought me a small bowl of wilted, brown-edged lettuce with one slice of tomato that was hard and half green. Nothing else. It was practically criminal. LOL

Hi, from Regina, SK!! Our vegan offerings here are few...although an Odd Burger just opened here. Junk vegan...but still vegan. I just think of all the money we save by not having anywhere to eat out!! Plus, I've had food poisoning more than once from restaurant food, sooooo maybe a lesson there. Try to stick to whole foods, and usually either bring our own food on holidays or "eat out" at the grocery store, produce section.

Hi Its Sharon Webb again fyi I'm from Detroit, but we had a cottage and spent many years on Georgain bay, Bying inlet. We had a cottage in Britt. That is 1/2 way between Toranto and Sudbury. We now live in Florida and I'm a new not perfect vegan. 48 days off animals, but some bi products, yogurt and cheese pizza, my down fall. Learning through KZbin and all the wonderful Canadain Vegan chefs, I now really miss Canada. You have all the vegan foods up there you can think of. I'm the chewing with your mouth open girl. Again imsorry. Ty for your great work.

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation yesterday & treated ourselves to lunch at Planta on Queen. What an amazing restaurant, I can’t remember when was the last time I ate at a more fancy place and 100% plantbased. Their lunch menu had a good selection and a good variety of gluten free options as well. The lunch menu order comes with a chocolate chip cookie but since my daughter is GF they accommodated that and gave her the matcha cheesecake at no extra cost. We have copperbranch in Mississauga and they have a great brunch menu. As for sweets we really like Kelly’s bake shop in Burlington, all gluten free and vegan. Have you ever tried Bloomer’s doughnuts? We have a location in Mississauga now but haven’t tried yet. I really enjoy the Happy Cow app to find awesome vegan places when traveling. FYI I think the capital of vegan food is Berlin😀.
@pbwithjeremy11 ай бұрын
Wait - is the world wide capital of vegan food actually Berlin still? I thought it became Tel Aviv recently... LOVE Planta on Queen - great way to celebrate - congrats to your daughter!!! Copper branch has saved me so many times in so many cities - I love it. I've been to Kelly's in Burlington as well. I've had Bloomers and they're fine. By no means my fav Vegan donuts. For that it would be Lady Glaze in the KW region and a close second would be Glory Hole in Toronto.

You presented a lovely family trip that showed the places you went to, their addresses the storefronts, a brief menu and some of the food. Some who watch these videos also look for longer close-ups of the menus, a review of the food eaten compared to past experiences (as only you did here) and less family and face time of the reviewers in a compact time frame. That way a playlist can be easily made to follow concisely where to go and what to try without a lot of scanning and searching. Vegan Ballerina recently went to Vienna and did a great job of this. I do appreciate what you have done here.

@@pbwithjeremy That's right. I really have a hard time with the open-mouth chewing, and it turns me off the videos sometimes. But I guess that's just a cultural thing, like tackling your food with a knife and fork. I keep following because of the good content, but I skip the chewing parts of some of the family members 😁.

Seed oils take three years to detox out of our bodies. I understand those are fun foods but they will be filled with seed oils. Restaurants are not places to frequent if we want to avoid polyunsaturated industrial oils. Once you start the research on them you will not want them in your body.
